    • @ anjit : talking about this ... I think this is the electrical connections for the bike's lighting and startup system and not the ECU ...

SVC guy told me it is used for ignition mapping etc.,

          • @Anjit, was awaiting photos from you. That can be the rectifier unit or the digital ignition mapping unit or a combo of both.

Also, in fact a bungee net can happily hold 2 or 3 milk packets or books safely. They are very flexible and can even hold a large bag under them. The reason I have mentioned a bag is so that small things too can be taken care off and can prevent damage to books due to rain or what ever else.

but yeah, its always good to put bag on saddle, provides more comfort, and leaves no signs of Bike Pain (back Pain)

Actually, I won't have a situation like that, the books will get wet in that case. Sorry if that was unclear.

I'll most probably be getting a bungee net, but I'll also check out the shop you mentioned, just in case I find something better.

                Cheers guys

yes bro....you need to take it to 6000rpm once in a while and do revert back
about the vibes thing...its troubling me coz others get those kinda vibes beyond 80kmph...

The engine should not be put under stress (revved high) when new.. Thats why the manual talks about not exceeding 6k RPM.. It doesn't mean you need to touch 6k RPM once or something like that.. What it simply means is to not exceed 6k.. You may even ride it at as low as 3k if its fine with you..
My suggestion would be, to not take it beyond 4k RPM during the 1st 1000kms..

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

i would suggest the bar is 6k... you can do whatever you want in that room... just don't ride for too long at a fixed rpm be it 3k or 5.5k.
Kingdom FAR FAR away is where I wanna be...
But I can't find a road headed that way.

                              • Partial installation of the performance kit

                                Hello,

I was thinking if any SVC or Yamaha is offering the option of a customer selecting components of the recently introduced performance kit to be installed.

I believe this way, one can still have a street legal fz (by not selecting the silencer).

Let me know if anyone knows of such an option being available.

                                Comments welcome.

                                Thanks.
