dude this is one of the reasons we use the engine kill switch ... the key when used turns the battery on and off , which as you say might take a toll on the battery ... now wait a sec , which activa do you have coz the one I have doesn't even have the engine kill switch .
People ask me , why are you cribbing about the BHP ? to them I say "MORE is never ENOUGH" xbhp.com

...........it doesnt have an engine kill switch dude
i used to switch the ignition off by turning the key........it was too late before i found out that was virtually blowing the battery up.......can u elaborate on the function of the engine kill switch????.......if it doesnt fiddle with the battery then how does it kill the engine(technical details pls)????????

i had this on my RX from past ~20 years, and still its there and saved bike and life many times bro,
now due to some problems we gave it to one of my relative, some years ago..
who is still using it with that guard..
but remember no crash guard can save FZ as its a Fiber body Bike,
i wish it would have Carbon Fiber

I checked with Yamaha and they dont have crash gaurd available for FZ16 not even in optional accessories. You can get the same from market.

I am also planning to get it by next weekend and then will be able to post the pic.
