    Hey guys.............has any one tried K&n filter in their FZ16?

    I have heard people fitting them (not just k&n may be other ones) on other bikes and are happy with the performance.
    Does Pickup, performance & FE really increase?

    Excuse me, if I am not in the right thread.

      hi guys, just want to ask....does the FZ-S windshield can be fitted to the FZ-16? will you need to drill holes on the fz16 upper portion of the headlight?

        i guess its a straight fit...the windshield bolts to an already existing provision i guess,i can confirm it tom!

            Trip of 550km

            Guys...today went on a small tour of 550km return with my friend pillion.....
            I would like to share some thoughts with you all.....
            As of now the ODO stands at 7900...

            1. Pick-up was little OK....not good...this i came to know while trying to
            overtake other vehicles on the highway....
            2. Engine was very hot(obviously)....guess due to the mineral oil and not
            the semi-synth....so on that front it was nice....
            3. I dont know why but the there were vibrations in the handle bar and
            front and rear foot pegs after the bike crosses 80km/h....
            4. Bike didnt touch the three figure mark even once...
            5. Mileage i got would be around 40-42 at speeds above 60km/h always...

            I Had lubed my chain 3 days back and serviced the bike 20 days ago....
            So what could be the reason for vibrations and no top end?????

            Do your bikes also have vibrations after the speed of 80???

                @Raghubrp- yes u will a difference while riding the bike.....But make sure u get some who knws what they are doing....Other u will have a problem with the bike and if i was u don't take to the Yamaha showroom to get it fixed they will give u stories like they give me....

                  I hope everybody knows this but the monoshock suspension is the best suspension for our indian roads.
                  Also the comfort is great. So is there any way I can make the rear seat of the fz bigger and comfortable for a pillion rider. I want to make it like the HOnda unicorn . Please suggest any methods and the approximate cost.
                  Reduce 1 km/hr speed, add 1second 2 ur life.

                    guys whenever u get your bike back from service , check all the bolts properly , coz for my bike they had put a larger bolt than required in the saree guard and as a result when i went over a bump , the bolt went under the tyre hugger and cut it open ... , i've covered up the cut with a sticker but , the shape is bent and looks stupid from behind ... where can i get a new one ??? i've heard that it costs around 170rs , but i don't know where to get it ...

                    regarding the seat , i think some members here have added foam to their p220's seat without altering the shape , so have to check and see if that is possible on the FZ ...

                        The thing which goes real change is the engine note.. Its gruntier beacuse with K&N the bike runs on richer mixture.
                        Fe drops, Slight/minor change in Performance and Acceleration.

                          the same happened to me dude if there is a pillon and moves over a hump i get some sound and the wheel guard has ripped..
                          try the service centre you will get it done

                              jst came back frm a 250kms ride..and boy oh boy....i dont know how but my bike is silky-milky-angelina jolie butt-smoooooth!
                              i was so happy!!i really dont know how it go so smooth!tht too on mineral oil!!seems like they serviced it well! :O but i felt slight drop in power gotta check!!
