found a price quote in google which said it costs about 3k so asked..btw may i know the reason for recommending xtreme parts,and what are the parts included in bore kit.?.btw from ur dp it looks like your uni is the first batch so it would have undergone some overhauls can you mention the parts replaced(engine)

Well I'm not experienced enough to explain properly why extreme bore kit is better, xbhp user sibun can explain it much better. Yea mine is the first batch but has done only 43k km so no overhaul done so far.

Need help, back from a little problem with my Unicorn, it's just that my rear part of the bike is like wobbling and after giving it to the mechanic, it was founded out that the shocks ain't that working good now, so one of the mechanic said you can either replace the shocks or try to see if you can get the rubber which comes at the tip of the shocks replaced and it will be just fine. . . So now, what am I supposed to do, should I change the shocks or try to search for only rubber. . ? My bike is 7 years old and 51k done on the odo, what's the advice for me now. . ? New XTreme/Hunk Hero genuine bore-piston kit costs around 3.1k. Uni's bore kit should be also around this price.
Also, when you dismantle the engine you will see many parts that need replacement - like clutch plates, valves, valve guides, cam chain, gaskets etc.
Also, there could be work that need to be carried out in lathe, like valve polishing and seating, crank work etc
So please prepare yourselves for a bill of anything between 7k - 10k.

FYI - I recently got my Hunk's engine rebuilt

Obviously look for the rubber first and see if that helps, if it doesn't then replace the shocks.

I have a query reg my Unicorn.

I have crossed 38K mark in Odo. When I swith on the bike after a long stop (Usually 9 hours after office gets over or 12 hours After I Reach home), there seems to be smoke dust coming out from silencer during idling (only above 4K RPM). at Normal 1200 RPM, i cannot see anything.
Have never noticed it since last 3 and half years.

One of my friend told that it must be the carbon particles stuck to the inner walls of silencer. Any ideas on this.

I am afraid, I need to open engine for reboring or piston-rings change.

On a serious note, i am planning to use Iftex System G along while fuelling up the next time. I believe this is meant for Cars, but let me give a try in my Uni for few thousand Kms and update.

It is carbon particles as your friend said. Ride the bike at speed 60~80 kmph for few kms and tune your bike bit leaner than present state.

Last Thursday: Oil level checked and found it to be between the Min and Max Mark (1000 Kms done after Oil change).

Yesterday: Ripped my bike for just 10 Kms touching speeds of 100

I assume that changing Piston Rings will solve the issue (If any)

Looks like oil do burn along with petrol, as you see oil level dropping drastically.
After riding say 10km check the exhaust on idling, you would be able to see smoke from exhaust if oil is burning. Best time to check is during night in a traffic signal and in lights from vehicles behind.
Also, You should be able to see smoke on hard throttle while bike in neutral.
Check exhaust tip for black oily deposit.

The night breaker costs about 500 bucks, haven't tried it yet but read good reviews about it.
