Re: Honda CBR 250R
Try at Vishrantwadi one , forgot the name of thatOriginally posted by Highbeamer View PostHi Guys,
This is my very first post in xBhp. I'm from Pune and planning to get CBR 250R. However I was looking to take a test ride before making a purchase. I tried at B.U.Bhandari and Gagan Wings Honda, they said they don't have a test ride bike.
Can anyone please tell me where can I get a test ride of ceeber in Pune.
Thanks!
B.U Bhandari at Viman Nagar has Test ride bike, ask straight to manager for that.
Sterling in P-C also has test ride bike

Also today got a call from B.U.Bhandari Viman Nagar, they said there's a TD bike (at B.U.Bhandari Station road), however they have the STD version not the ABS. I've asked them to give me a call once it is available. Let's see when can I get the TD.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Honestly u dont need abs unless you duno how to brake, I know its a real important feature and even I thought I'm going to regret not having abs but I dont. It depends on how u brake, I steel braided my front brakes and bike braking feels super good now.Originally posted by Highbeamer View PostThanks Rohit for quick response. Re: Honda CBR 250R
Guys I'm in a bit of a dillema, my bike is due service now but I can't give it till Monday , and if I do I'll get only Monday evening, I need to leave n go by Monday morning like 180-200km , I can do a oil change, lube n tighten chain but I need to change chain sprocket set, maybe my disc and a full other general service , but can I just change oil n do a full service later? I know its a risk but just asking, my bike was service last at 15500 its at 22000 but I've changed oil once at 18500,

200 km won't make much of a difference. Just check if chain slack and engine oil are at appropriate levels.Originally posted by Deathwing View PostGuys I'm in a bit of a dillema, my bike is due service now but I can't give it till Monday , and if I do I'll get only Monday evening, I need to leave n go by Monday morning like 180-200km , I can do a oil change, lube n tighten chain but I need to change chain sprocket set, maybe my disc and a full other general service , but can I just change oil n do a full service later? Re: Honda CBR 250R
Guys, Will it make any trouble to ABS unit if I use 150/60 tyre at rear? I saw Michelin has pilot street radial of 150/60.( I know 140/70 pilot street is available). But to me, it looks smaller than stock contigo.I read that different tyre size than stock will lead to abs malfunction. Now I asked this because I feel 150/60 won't make big difference in aspect ratio compared to stock 140/70. I would like to see ur thoughts guys

I don't think ABS has to do much with the tyre size. It's just a sensor not to let the wheel lock while braking hard.Originally posted by Harisankar View PostGuys, Will it make any trouble to ABS unit if I use 150/60 tyre at rear? I had used a 150/60 and it looks smaller than the 140/70 Michelin due to the tyre height. On paper it seems to be not much of a difference but visually it is small. You can go for a 150/60 but speedo reading gets affected along with drop in mileage. Do go for it if you are looking for more cornering capability.
Also i would suggest same tyre compound and brand on both the ends. Michelin radial at the rear with mrf radial at the front is not doing any good to me. It was way better when I had mrf radials at both the ends.Ride Safe!
Cheers,
Maneesh S

Why Don't You Try OLX There You Might Find People Who Would Be Interested In Selling CBR250R. Just Pose As A Potential Buyer And Take A Test Ride.

Nice idea!!!
Will wait for some time to get a call from the dealership.. If that doesn't work let's make use of quikr and olx
