i would advise you not to go for mrf zapper s that are available in stock size, if you are considering it for offroading purposes.

i have changed my contis to mrf and their offroad performance is poorer than contis.

where they excel over contis is only on tarmac

so just a piece of advice .

      Sorry for the offtopic mods

Yeah man, I agree, the Michelin PSRs are a complete bang for the buck, however i have ended up with a puncture almost after every off road experience, and this with the most careful and mildest of riding because i hate to abuse my motorcycle outside its comfort zone.

Wow, Ok thanks for the input, the MRF's are crossed off the list after reading your review.
BTW your signature made me laugh really hard.

Go for semi offroading tyres, it can be used both for road n offroad abut, a full offroad tyres with big nobbies will make the bike wobble a lot .

Hi Friends, Just acquired a pre-worshipped 2012 CBR250r ABS. Loved it to the core and it perfectly fits my driving style and need. Enjoying it!!!

Quick question - the headlight throw is focused towards right. I had a close look at the reflector inside the headlight and found that it is slightly tilted towards right. Can I adjust it horizontally? so that the throw falls in the center. Please help me as my daily commute back would be after 7 pm and I highly rely on the headlight.

You can actually adjust it vertically only without opening the headlight assembly. May be your bulb socket is misaligned. You would need to pull out the bulb and then check. The method is mentioned in the manual itself.

I have been following this thread for quite some time now.
And finally yesterday I purchased Pre owned CBR.
In the very first ride I realized MRF is of no use and it can only be used for off roads.
So I got michelin pilot Street today
150/70 & 110/70 and now feeling is just amazing.

It's a ABS model and 2015 January manufactured.
Odo reading is 7100km which is pretty awesome 😁
Previous owner gave me full service history and last servicing was done 50 kms back.
I got this bike from Mumbai and while coming to Pune I realized MRF is of no use.
I got a pair of michelin in rs 9200.
Normally one can go for 140/70 in rear but I liked 150 more.

Infact I also have the same issue for my 2013 Tricolor CBR250r. my headlight is also focusing slightly towards right, I tried removing the bulb socket and checked if there is some alignment issue. Unfortunately this did not worked for me.
Do let me know if you come across any solution.

                          Hi,
First of all congrats and I would suggest you can take it off and put it back (if you have small hands) or better go to SVC it takes 5 minutes to do it.
Little off topic was it you yesterday near taking u turn near PTC junction near CTS office in Thoriapakkam?
                          Regards,

Wow, seems like a sweet purchase. Only 7100 km on the clock. I, had to turn the Hyderabad market upside down to find a CBR with a genuine reading of less than 10K.
But completely worth it. Yes, the Michelins have made a world of a difference and the bike is a lot more confidence inspiring now. I have the valve clatter at 5.5K RPM which is currently being looked into by the ASC, but i am sure that replacing the shims should sort the issue out and have it "purring" back to normal.
Anyway, all the best with your new ride and wish you plenty of miles and smiles.

Thank you buddy . Ya, planning to go to SVC for the headlight alignment fix. No, it was not me at Thoraipakkam. I work at SIPCOT, Siruseri and I come from Kelambakkam side.
