Re: Honda CBR 250R
You can go for it, spares will be available for a while, Honda have no plans of launching the 300r or 250rr instead 350rr might be launched like how Yamaha did with the r25 and introduced the r3, as of now , there are a quite few ceebers for Honda to make availability of spares hard. See the odometer, tyres, engine coolant lvl, engine, chain sprocket, any scratches or marks, when I took delivery of my CBR I had a scratch on my windscreen, got it replaced for free in the first service .I am also from chennai , get mine serviced at Didar Honda Egmore, they always have the spares n have a separate mechanics and a bay for the CBRs.Originally posted by TheArcher84 View PostLast edited by Deathwing; 08-08-2016, 09:16 PM.

Honda is too busy with selling scooter here. They definitely will launch Activa 4G,5G,6G 😂😂😂

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Not now, maybe end of next year, it makes sense, look at the Yamaha r3, it came as the r25, but for India and a few more countries it came as the r3, I read somewhere it will come as a 350cc twin to justify the price tag of 3.5-4.5 lakh range, nobody is going to pay 3.5 or more for a 250cc, 350 makes more sense for buyers. Yeah Honda have been ignoring this segment by not introducing the 300r which came 2 years back to the world.Originally posted by zikzak View PostCBR350R??

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Normal, clean petrol is more than enough. No need to waste money on shell premium or BP speed.Originally posted by TheArcher84 View PostI will check the waiting period and decide upon that. Having ridden a 600 without any gadgets, I am confident of riding it without any aids. But having it is much better.
One more question, for CBR, what fuel do you guys recommend (Please dont mention the RON), in plain simple terms - Shell normal or BP speed..etc...

One guy who bought an Activa near my native house was overjoyed at finally owning a brand new two wheeler. Until I showed up with the CBR250. Poor guy had no idea that the CBR exists so I told him it gave 20 kmpl and needs race license to drive.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
As I was telling you last week, I have filled shell Normal petrol last weekend. Now I do feel a difference in the performance, like it is a little.... tame.Originally posted by TheArcher84 View PostI will check the waiting period and decide upon that. This could just be me though. I have used vpower, for the past 4k km...just switched to normal to identify if there any difference.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
I was considering the 600i ,but the mileage figures, prices of spares, service intrevals put me off, and wanted the 650f more, but lack of test rides and pricing again put me off, I'm hoping Yamaha will release the tracer 700, atleast in a year or 2 ideally.Originally posted by TheArcher84 View PostThe master has spoken, All hail !!

Coming from the benelli to the CBR is a downgrade in power but commuting anywhere is not a problem in any condition, the CBR has gotta to have if not, one of the best engine cooling systems , as it will hardly ever go to 4bars how much ever ur revving it and it will save you a Ton if cash coming to spares, availability is not a issue. If u live close to city's center like nungambakkam, tnagar, Egmore, kilpauk I'll recommend getting service done at Didar Honda Egmore, they are a legit SVC with the proper mechs for the CBR who know what they are doing, if u have an issue, my bike always got sorted even any sign if niggles. Ideally 250/350rr would have been a better downgrade but ABS is a life saver, and I can tell you I am a non abs owner, I should have gotten the abs model, couldn't pay that extra more..

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Guys in b2b traffic the heat on the right side is more than the left , its not high but noticeably high, my radiator Fins are slightly bent and has a bit of mud in one place, do I need to get my radiator fins changed or the entire unit? I saw this cox radiator guard from revzilla.com, wanted to know if its worth investing in one.

Which other service center is good. I stay near Pallavaram. I dont mind travelling to Egmore if the bike gets good treatment. But I want to know an alternate one too.Originally posted by Deathwing View PostIf u live close to city's center like nungambakkam, tnagar, Egmore, kilpauk I'll recommend getting service done at Didar Honda Egmore, they are a legit SVC with the proper mechs for the CBR who know what they are doing, if u have an issue, my bike always got sorted even any sign if niggles.
