I don't feel the need of a radiator guard but there was a CBR on this thread whose fan failed due to muck being thrown on it. On my bike there is a solid wall of mud on the radiator which I don't bother to clean often.

True that, But how is the service there. I dont want them to use my bike as TD vehicle, or manhandle it.

I saw in Bikerz Yamaha near Alandur bus depot, a newly unloaded vehicle R15s was given to me as a TD vehicle. I asked the person who asked to take a ride, whether this is alloted to a customer , he sheepishly replied - Adhuku enna sir, chinna round thane poga porenga.

I threatened him saying, I will complain about this to Yamaha India and make sure your showroom is shut down for good. And indeed, I did send them an email, whether action will be taken or not, I am not sure.

You can't blame the sales guy, its the attitude from the management in the showroom, they prefer no TD vehicle to keep costs low.

Lodha Honda is USELESS !

I used to stay at Chrompet, and this outlet was very close to my house. But just like Honda India, these guys are happy servicing scooters. They always give your bike back after a service, without having the work done - for a simple bulb - they kept saying no stock for 2 weeks. I got tired of standing in the que with 20 other Activa owners, and then the bike would be brought by the service guy - with all your work pending. God knows if they serviced it or not, no easy way to check that...

So in short - Avoid Lodha Honda!

Heard that JSP in Aminjikarai or the one in Egmore - Didar has specialist for CBR, I dont mind travelling from one part of the city to another. Bike needs utmost care and will go the distance whosoever gives that

I give my bike to JSP in Aminjikarai for service(3 services so far). I used to stay in chengelpet, but I travel all the way just to service the beast and will take leave from office too

I had given my first free service to manasarovar honda in velachery and in my opinion they know their stuff. But now I prefer JSP anyday :thumbup:.

Even in Pune you cannot find any good mechanic in Honda service centre.
I had a issue with my bike few days back. Suddenly all indicators stopped working and when I showed it to Honda svc they were not able to understand the issue.
And the best part was they did not had equipments for chain cleaning and lubrication.

And I found a good mechanic in kothrud and he has good knowledge of cbr.

In kothrud near mit college there is Bike Gurus..
Ask for Kadar.
I have seen him working on fireblade, ninja and others.

Aah Bike Guru ofcourse. I've spoken to Amjad, he too seems quite knowledgeable but they're always busy because of which I couldn't get too much done.
