That was my initial assumption, so I thought it could not be the chain itself, but alignment or slider fault.
What I'd suggest is to readjust the slack, from its tightest spot, before that, rinse your chain thoroughly with kerosene or diesel as arv mentioned and I reiterated to your earlier post. Dry the chain throughly. Remove the chain adjusters, basically what you're supposed to do is what arv did, with a fresh coat of chain lube at the end.

Remember the right slack is very important too tight and your run the risk of increased chain wear, too loose, and it robs you of the power and slaps creating a mess back there. But as a general a slightly loose chain is recommended as opposed to an extremely tight chain.

For night riders/ traffic jockeys -

I was riding to an intersection, wanting to take a right turn, when I saw a car with high beam on, coming the opposite direction. Now, due to previous experience, I always slow down for an intersection, no matter if a vehicle is in sight or not, no matter if it's 2 pm or 2 am.

Just as I was about to take the right turn, there comes this KSRTC bus which was 'hiding' at the intersection, wanting to take a left turn to the road I was in. I couldn't see it before because the oncoming cars lights blinded me totally. That bus took a whopper of a left turn which took the whole road, and I was going to become, as they say in UT3, PANCAKE!

Lucky me, the speed was below 40 kmph, so I had an extra 5 feet reaction distance. I got to live another day..

1350 + or - a couple of 100 bucks. I remember seeing this, close to a year back, I presume the prices either should have remained the same (old stock) increased (new stock) is my guesstimate. But not more than 1200 to 1300 that I am sure, quote from memory.

Buddy, you've posted new year wishes on every thread except the Splendor and scooter thread. Why?
Do you wish Splendorers and scooty riders a horrible year ahead? Was there anything ominous foretold about Splendors?[emoji14]

If i were you i would agree with the price and still demand the dealer for new tyres, polish and extras like insurance. Is the vehicle registered with a number?
The vehicle has a number as noob employees registered vehicle without checking that its a ABS or STD Version
And do i need to get the tires changed as they or 3 years old or they will hold?

Better to get it changed, 3 years idle in showroom and if it hasn't been moved for months at stretch means flat spots on the tyres, which are not good for road use at all. And besides if they are the contigos then change them regardless, life is too short to wait fro the contigos to wear off .
I would suggest the Michelin pilot street radials, have been running them for over 20k kms now, highly satisfactory grip levels in most conditions and lods of life left even after 20k run.

                      Hope that helps.

Guys my front left indicator has stopped working. Fitting new bulbs didn't work. Moving the indicator physically caused the bulb to glow momentarily. Could it be a loose connection problem?

Sounds like the connector leads might have fallen loose a bit. If you know how to pop out the side fairing, should be an easy fix, im guessing it wouldn't be too tough to access it even without removing the side fairing.

Don't think it can be done so easily. How much has the bike clocked so far ?

Yes, it's a loose connection. Be sure to check the red and black connector from the indicator to the plastic sheath. Firmly press them in. And no need to remove the faring for this. Indicators can be removed easily, from the underside of the faring just below the indicators.

Friends, I wish you a very happy new year to all of you.

I have been a member since 2011 and a silent follower ever since. I bought a CBR 250R in 2013 and searched for accessories, but either the available ones were crappy, or expensive. Hence decided to make my own products. Here is my first product for CBR 250R. Some more are in the pipeline.
