Exactly my thought. A water servicing guy dropped my bike in stand still and broke a indicator, foot rest, bent brake lever and scratched heat shield and last week someone dropped my bike in our office parking lot scratching the panels and 3 days back my neighbor hit my bike while reversing. Luckily my bike fell on sand and no damage!

I think leech's evil bike spirit is chasing your motorcycle too. The Curse of Honda? You can get frame sliders, that are available in eBay for a decent price. Remember, sometimes it can damage the frame itself. This bike is no means a light bike at 165 kgs and fully loaded, imagine what gravity could do, if the entire force acts at single point of impact, and considering CBR has one of the best forged levers out there and gear levers, it's a no-brainer why stuff bends.

What I'd suggest is get yourself a good motorcycle cover at the least, this prevents dust in the first place, secondly it prevents the miscreants from noticing your bike. Trust me, superbike or TVS 50 once covered, repels 95% of the miscreants. Personal experience.

      Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
      The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

But vj, then the rats and ants come under the cover, and start families in unreachable areas of the bike.

In fact, there is this green spider that lives in my bike, and comes out only when I cross 60 kmph. It stays put on the mirror, or console and goes back into the bikes internals only after I park the bike. Today I found it on my jacket shoulder during riding, enjoying the breeze. [emoji32]

That spider can't even jump, Jon. It just hops everywhere. If I get bitten I may get an urge to upgrade to a faster bike, that's all. [emoji19]

sometimes these fi bikes could turn off if you ride as you are doing currently.. i've seen it happen on the ktm too.
btw, you disengage the clutch when you pull the lever in and you engage the clutch when you let go of the lever.

Another possible instance might be improper adjustment of the air screw in the FI unit. I haven't meddled with mine, for obvious reasons, but one can get it checked at the SVC.

It's always good to have some company while riding . Might even try talking to it!

Parking at my home is secure so no worries there and i use my bike everyday so covering it is out of question (too lazy to go up the stairs everytime to get the cover, no proper storage in the ground floor)

Guess i'll stock up on panels and foot rest. Got this so no worries about the lever getting bent at least for now.

I bought a CBR 250R in 2013 and searched for accessories, but either the available ones were crappy, or expensive. Hence decided to make my own products. Here is my first product for CBR 250R. Some more are in the pipeline.

Read The Manual It Says Octane 91 Or higher. So Better Switch Back To Extra Mile Or Speed Or V Power All Are 91 Octane. High Octane Rating Makes The Difference While You Are Riding CBR250R More Over Carbon Deposits Inside The Engine Will Be Less And Best Will Be Your Injectors Performance.

I see, cause in a couple of posts before I read someone got better mileage on normal fuel and Honda throttle oil combo, but yes I will be switching back to speed or the higher grade of fuel, tho my engine oil has only been motul , incase there isn't premium fuel availability ,are fuel additives a good alternative, note this is only when on highways where petrol pumps are hard to come by and don't have premium fuel.

Mileage depends on a lot of factors.

Yes Honda throttle oil would give a better mileage theoretically in the same scenario compared to say motul/shell FS since the Honda oil is 10W30 and these are 10W40. More the viscosity the harder the engine has to work.

I used to get 30kmpl initially when I got the bike....But later I switched to shell advance and now I get around 34~35. Is it because of the oil?, certainly not. It's the way I'm riding now compared to then. Riding sanely will always give a better mileage. There are lot of articles on how to increase mileage, if that's what you try to achieve.

                                Hello people,
My bike struggles to hold its line at lower speeds say 10 to 30 kmph. I checked the tires and they were properly inflated. Sometimes it feels like it is resisting to move forward in initial gears. What could be the issue?
