Last month a friend installed 150/60/17 Micheline, it was for 5200, manufacturered 2nd week 2016, front was for 4000, so find another dealer and check the manufacturing week and year. If it is late 2015, it will not have any problem. Also if you can afford MSR then don't think about PSD. Right bro! I have been to 3-4 dealers here in Gurgaon and they all are giving absurd quotes. This was the cheapest I came across. Also, though personally I prefer MSRs, how is Ceat zoom and MRF masseter? For the front get the MRF Revz FC or FC1 (the one that comes on the KTM 200's) it's a very good tire and also much cheaper than a Michelin.Originally posted by Mayankisme View PostThen michelin it is. As for the rear, the michelin radial (michelin pilot street) will cost you upward of 5200rs.. remember michlein also has a bias ply (michelin pilot sporty) in the 140 size which is cheaper but not very good tire in terms of grip (especially if you are a spirited rider). The radial is a imported tire (you will see the marking 'made in thailand' on the tire side wall) while the bias ply is made here, and one of the reasons the radial is expensive.
Try and look for the mrf messeters (for the rear).. they seem to be soft compound and should have nice grip (based on my experience with the Revz) and I think the reason they did not launch the messeter in the ktm sizes(110 or 150/60) is because they already have a similar tire in the Revz category.Last edited by s1d; 01-09-2017, 10:59 PM.

MRF wouldn't want to cannibalize same product with a different brand name, at least a well established one for the sake of new one, Massetter, which is anyone's guess, but at least in theory it feels very much true. The best combination would be MPSR on both frond and rear. Only REVZ and Michelin MPSR and MPR and Metz are radial rest are all bias ply, unless otherwise stated. If you plan to use a bias ply, and a radial, use the radial at the front and use the bias ply at the rear. Guys yesterday I had to ride about 160 kms , bike is totally fine , kept at 90-120 , but one point the bike kept switching off even with the clutch engaged, this gets extremely annoying when I have to slow down or stop at a signal and then after I park my bike and get back on it , everything is fine and it again happened after a one point and stopped again , what is the reason for this? Is something loose or do I need to get it checked, this thing happens very occasionally only when ive kept my bike running for a long time.

What's your odo reading? Odo is at 28687kms , I've faced this issue once or twice before but it never persisted just happens randomly , even yesterday it happened like twice and then the bike was fine again. I noticed if this problem occurs and I stop and park my bike for a bit and get back and ride it self rectifies, not sure how tho, how frequent was it for you? Change your airfilter, fuel filter, clean the throttle body and petrol tank and while filling petrol ensure that it is pure and free from any adulteration. Yes it happened randomly for me too. If I started the bike immediately after the engine dies, it will die again soon. Current theory is that the fuel filter is clogged. I had this problem for 10k kms, and it killed the joy of riding. Air filter changed, had no effect. Disconnecting the battery had a temporary effect. Premium fuel from Shell, no effect. Add-on P, no effect. No effect on cleaning the switches. Only thing that worked for me was changing the fuel filter.
Give it a try. Costs like ₹120, labour extra. Honda recommends 48k interval for the fuel filter change, but the mechanic who changed my fuel filter was astonished at the amount of gunk at 28k itself.

Ahh I switched to normal fuel and then at two bars , yesterday filled speed, I'll stick to premium fuel henceforth , if not additives for normal fuel.
