Well, the roads I've been riding this motorcycle on, any tyre is gonna give up. My rear Contigo has 2 huge cuts, and 4-5 small cuts, with air loss of 4-5 psi a week. No use upgrading to revc1 then. That's a cutie radial.

About the handling, yeah at 125+ there is slight unsteadiness, bike doesnt feel securely planted, but I hardly ever get roads to speed this much.

So finally went as per my heart and booked CBR 250r Repsol Edition ( abs model )
on-road came around 2.19lak including RTO bla bla.

Did not take any test ride of the bike.. As i want to feel it from my very own bike. ( same thing i did with my 200NS )

Mounted on the display bike, God it felt so light and comfortable to make the bike straight from halt position.
In my NS, the weight distribution is quite odd, which feels like lifting a big bike even though it weights only 145kg dry.

The cockpit looked perfect and bit raised up to make more visible in direct sunlight.

Clutch felt super light, when bike turned all way to left and engaging clutch is super easy and effortless..

at 2Lak, this bike is complete package imo.
Styling, comfort, refinement, durability, reliability, bullet proof engine and city comfort.

They told me to wait 60 days for it. I might get it a bit early too.
The manager at Kun Honda ( Adyar.Chennai ) told me that there is a batch moving out on Feb, i might get mine in that batch.

If anyone planning to buy a CBR, just go with ABS version which comes with Nissin brakes. The brake felt so good compared to Bybre setup.

Only thing which i dont like in this bike as of now is the stock round rvm, i will be replacing it with Karizma RVM ( 450/- per side ) once i get the bike.

How did you decide your username, sir?

Is it pronounced bonda-run in reference to Honda or bond-arun as in attaching your name to the James Bond legend?

Cuts have been an issue with the stock pair of my tyres as well when the bike was standing most of the time. Mostly in the heat. Had to change the tyres because of them.
Now they don't seem to appear as the bike is ridden constantly.

My conti gos started giving issues at 8k km itself the rear only, the front held up better, soo for almost 5000-6000 kms I was on a spare new 140/60 tyre at 18000 changed front and back to mrfs now after 30k km I need to change it within the next couple of months, looking to go for MPSR as soon I have some cash in hand, my front mrf is weak due to two crashes on the front and forks, soo air level keeps dropping like every couple of days need to fill the front only.

Dear sir, please use proper punctuation. It helps others to comprehend your words. I had to read your post three times to make full sense of it.

Yesterday the Temp went till highest which proved coolant was low. So today morning filled the stock coolant and it drank almost all of the bottle. Today the whole ride to office the bar was normal at three. Phhewww, time to change the coolant soon. Till the time its been saved
Welcome to the Club CBRs, Prat. You hit a new record with making that temperature reach all time high to the six bars. For once, I am surprised to see a CBR reach full temp bars. Nonetheless, stick to any grade of coolant, but make sure the flushing is done properly and the coolant is replaced every one to two years.

I've had these bumps on the previous Contigo too, but rode them till 25k kms.
                    What is a sidewall bubble?

A sidewall bubble is a bulge protruding from the sidewall of the tire. It is caused by air leaking from the inside of the tire into the carcass or body of the tire.

                    What causes a sidewall bubble?

The vast majority of bubbles are caused by impact damage. When a tire hits a sharp object in the road the force from the weight and speed of the vehicle is focused in the small area of contact. This compresses the tire enough that the inside of the sidewall is pinched and damaged causing a small hole in the inside tire liner layer. The impact can also damage the sidewall cords and significantly weaken the tire. The impact may not have been noticed by the driver. This applies both to the bubbles that appear on the outside tread facing part of the tire too.

Some common types of impact are:

                    Potholes
                    Railroad crossings
                    Speed bumps
                    Curbs
                    Heavily damaged roads
                    Road construction areas
                    Debris in the road

Occasionally a defect in the tire can cause the bubble. Determining the cause is fairly simple. Inspect the outside of the tire for obvious cuts or bruises.
When the tire is removed for replacement:
Mark the area where the bubble is (it will deflate when the tire is deflated.)
Inspect the bead area for cuts or abrasions
Inspect the inner liner for cuts or bruises. The technician will need to press inwards on the area of the bubble to find any breaks in the inner liner.

The bubble also indicates there is structural
damage to the tire that cannot be repaired. A tire in this condition could fail without warning and should not be driven on. We recommend the spare tire be used until a replacement can be found. The tire must be replaced.

                    Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                    THE END

It isn't on the sidewall, all the bumps are on the road touching part of the tyre, whatdowecallit mainwall?? [emoji14]

Well, bulges aren't supposed to happen, and they are a disaster waiting to happen. Googling will yield you some more results on what are the cons of a bubbled tire. If you're under warranty, I would suggest you push for it.

                        Cheers!

Guys, need some gyaan. Is it true that the CBR 250 fi does not draw fuel when decelerating?
As in, we accelerate to 40 in third, then release the accelerator, but don't pull the clutch, so that the bike slows down with a whine.

Reason I asked is, I've changed my riding style to utilise engine braking a lot, the past 4 months, and I've noticed increased (+2) mileage. Last trip, I've gotten 402 kms from 10.69L of fuel. Speeds were 60-128 kmph depending on roads.

I see that there are 4-5 groups of Honda CBR 250 r users and interest, but with few members in each. Could someone please MERGE these groups into one so that there is one group with all the members interested in the brand/bike.

May be drawing no fuel at all or just enough to keep it ticking near idle rpm, and also it must be the reason behind the random shut down while holding clutch and coasting.
