No I didn't; I overlooked to see if he fitted a Pirelli Sports Demon for C250R & was very keen to read the report as I'm seriously considering to change one sooner or later.Originally posted by Ivin View PostYou didnt realise..??Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

Edit - Looks like you did some mods; I also notice the chain adjuster being changed from stock; Any specific reason?

Bro, as per the manual Pg. 42 it quotesOriginally posted by kimshine View PostGUYS i need help for my bike TYRES ,,,
REAR tyre got punctured (i know its tubeless) because of a piece of sharp solid Metal
,,,, it was 3 inches thick and almost 4 inches wide and long
so somehow i got the tyre puncture fixed ,,but even after applying those 4-5 puncture strips ,,, i have lost faith on tyre ,,

first i took it to 4-5 mechanics they were not able to fix it ,,, but 1 mechanic installed 4-5 strips and got it working ,,,, but the bike handling has changed
rear Tyre Skids and slips alot
OR IS IT MY MIND ONLY
So do not use TUBED tyres.Do not install a tube inside a tubeless tyre on this motorcycle. Excessive heat buildup can cause the tube to burst. Use only tubeless tyres on this motorcycle. The rims are designed for tubeless tyres, and during hard acceleration or braking, a tube-type tyre could slip on the rim and cause the tyre to rapidly deflate.
The manual gives info on tyres from Pg 37 through Pg 42.

Bro, the ABS light goes off once you move over 10 kmph.Originally posted by drarchit View Postdoes abs light switches off after we start riding the bike? And i could hardly make out any difference between abs and non abs braking both felt same to me....
Quote from Manual Pg 16This indicator normally comes on when the ignition
switch is turned ON, and goes off after you ride the
motorcycle at speed above 10 km/h (6 mph).
@ Prashant kadam, check this thread for information on WHICH WAXCan anyone help me what chain lubricant we need to use for CBR250R? from where we can buy it in Mumbai?
Also I'm also planning to buy wash and wax. Which one would be suitable?
As for lubricant, read through the CBR thread, you will get a fair idea. But for info, most of the members prefer MOTUL LUBE & MOTUL CHAIN CLEANER.Last edited by Janesh.J; 09-19-2011, 12:00 PM.30+ YEARS OF RIDING

In that case, yeah it's pretty much obvious...But at high speeds, I don't hear anything because of the wind
By the way, I remember someone writing a post about how to prop up the bike like on the center stand without using one. Can someone point me to that post? I'm not able to find it..
