CBR parts price have soared up above 40% The only reason given was material improvement over quality of parts! I can clearly see that in my old lever and the new ones! And these parts are used in the 2012 production model! More reason to stop yapping about Honda's poor quality output!2011 - CBR 250R (RED, Delivered) - Happy Man! - SOLD
2014 - Royal Enfield - Classic 500 Desert Storm - Awaiting

Appreciate Honda!....at least they are not like other manufacture to take years to improve quality....Originally posted by BladeBoy View PostCBR parts price have soared up above 40% The only reason given was material improvement over quality of parts! Thanks Dude! I'll probably be in US for a couple of weeks in May end or June, perhaps I can pick up the Progrips

Anything which feels irritating during the initial 1-2 weeks ride will slowly settle down. It is not actually about the thin handle bar grips rather the comfort in choosing the riding position. In the initial period my hand(from palm to deltoids) where like numb. Slowly I tried various sitting positions and selected a convincing one rather a good one
. First thing is hug the tank with your thighs and slightly bend your elbows a little which is the best seating position AFAIK
. Bending the elbows slightly is also good at times when you accidently hit a pothole or a bumb(obviously not at triple digits
)
If you really need a aftermarket hand grip, check performance store or check the Pro-grip models.
Ride Safe...

Kishore, now that you mention it...... and I know its manageable now, under 5K RPM..... But hey but my prime reason for the full/open face - that if I feel like a nic stic while riding, I can
Gokul: Thanks Dude.

Btw nice jacket.. Believe me Boolean is not good for long rides (read wind noise).. I have black one, and recently got a new lid, which is far better than Boolean
It makes a lot of difference.
Wishing you miles and miles of happy CBRing
Yes is the answer for all your questions. Pillion seat comfort of CBR is definitely better than R15 V2.0 and less comfortable than ZMR.

But, you are not going to keep revs under 5K RPM for long timeOriginally posted by mshihabudin View PostKishore, now that you mention it...... and I know its manageable now, under 5K RPM..... But hey but my prime reason for the full/open face - that if I feel like a nic stic while riding, I can
Boolean is good for city riding, no complaints

my cbr250r experience
It was 5months past and i have faced all the situation what a rider face .well to coming into point i am gonna share some of my experience .
plus of cbr250r:
*reasonable price
*performs good in traffic
*lot of gear cuts not necessary
*good range of power delivery
*nice prolink suspension
*good seating position, but the seat is hard
minus of cbr250r:
*produces a lot of engine heat .i can feel it at times of city traffic
*light power is not so good in highway
*i feel some disappointment in brakes. as many fellow bikers change it many times
*look is not upto the mark if compared with ninja and version 2.0
That"s all the point coming to my mind as of now . sorry for my terrible english
and if i had made any mistake please forgive me.
Thank you.Young riders pick a destination and go... Old riders pick a direction and go....

I can agree with this by keeping my fingers crossed. I heard that the brake pads are going to see a significant improvement in quality (I wish it provides the expected bite though). But, until I see them in person, can't really agree to it.Originally posted by BladeBoy View PostCBR parts price have soared up above 40% The only reason given was material improvement over quality of parts!Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle
