    • Just received Bike India's issue. They tested 0-100 speeds of various bike. For our cbr250r 0-100 timing was just 8.47s whereas for duke it was 9.18s and 7.95s for ninja.

They also tested 100-0 timing and according to results cbr(abs) takes 3.75s exactly same as ninja..

        :
In zero-dep insurance, incase of a crash, you wont have to pay a single penny for any part of the bike.(except the labor charges). You can claim 100% even on the plastic and fiber panels which is only 50% for a normal insurance. Even in case of a theft, You get the whole amount back as per the value of the bike during that period.
I myself had a accident recently, and I claimed everything paying zero amount for all the parts replaced. It can save a lot of money during such times.

          1. Which showroom can deliver the Black CBR Std in least time??? I was told a waiting of 15 days after booking.

          2. What to look for while opting for zero-dep insurance. Whats the difference between zero-dep & normal insurance? What should be the extra charge.

          3. I was quoted 1.67 lacs for std version. What should be a good price to pay with extended warranty and zero-dep insurance. I mean how much discount should I bargain for???

Finally, after a long wait since its launch, I will get the dream machine. Pretty excited.

Help me guys. Probably I will book the bike in 2 days.

          Thanks in advance.

Oho!!!!! Kitni baar mood badlega? :P

            • Back from a 5100 km solo trip to Spiti Valley...Aah the bike performed well though the chain got really lose by the time I got back home. Other than this no other problem with the bike. Could easily climb the passes without much fuss and water crossings were taken care of as well albeit not as easy as I thought I must say.

Probably the first time in the history of Indian journalism somebody managed to get the right timings out of all the bikes. And these are the same figures i have been quoting for more than a year now for both the Ninja and the CBR. Kudos to whoever pushed these bikes to the max. Atleast he knows how to "Push em to their limits"

                  • OT - Not sure if anyone keeps track on the ratings on this thread; atleast two months ago, it was rated nearly to 4.5 & that was atleast by nearly 45 (last I can remember) members. But today we stand to 4.45 by 51 members.

I don't know who're the jokers who has done this damage!!! I mean, if there's really something bad on this thread, its acceptable, but if this is for someone's personal gain, that I cannot accept. Atleast let the blokes put forth what's wrong on this thread before the poor rating!!!

Well, its not about members voting; I'm wondering what was the reason for such poor voting; couple of month ago, people voted terrible for CBR 150R thread for so much of junks getting in, which was acceptable, but this thread, I believe, is very useful & contains REAL ownership experience & why or who would want to rate it bad, unless they've some attitude problem or like I said...personal gains for something

                                Thanks Sudeep
