Aargee, what he means is, his is a abs cbr which should have a all Nissin setup. All is ok except the master cylinder on his bike which should be Nissin as well but is actually a bybre one.Originally posted by aargee View PostIts highly impossible; either you didn't notice it properly, you're misinformed or I've misunderstood your question; the pads are simply not interchangeable between BYBRE & Nissin.
@Alurysharad: This is either an assembly line mistake or the ASC guys replaced it before delivery (maybe they used it on some other bike in emergency). But it should be Nissin. It wont be much a problem but get it chanced to the stock one. Also the Nissin ones have DOT4 brake oil as stock and Bybre has DOT3. Which is yours? Clear or reddish? You gotta risk it.. to get da biscuit !!!

Dont make judgements based on the Colour, cause its just a die added so that it'd be able to notice leaks sooner.Originally posted by aman15 View Post@sagar : does clear mean dot 4 or dot 3?? Or reddish means its time to change the fluid ??Motorcycling Experience:

Nothing can be farther from truth than your statement...The dot 4 is light golden /transparent in color, while the dot 3 is pinkish red....if they become dark it is time to change the oil...as a thumb rule, 15,000 Kms or One year you need to change the Brake oil...Since it is safety related, end user decides ,based on his own evaluation of what his/her life is worth.Originally posted by ashwinprakas View PostDont make judgements based on the Colour, cause its just a die added so that it'd be able to notice leaks sooner.Last edited by psr; 08-05-2012, 02:18 PM.When Was The Last Time,You Did Something For The First Time.

At the top it will be just touching the swing arm in side stand...with load in straight position it will go up..still if the chain is loose then it will grace the swing arm near the GB sprocket...for this reason there is a protective plate fixed to the top of swing arm, which will prevent chain coming in direct contact with the swing arm metal...at the lower half there will be generous gap of 2~3 inches...To check chain slack, press the chain UPWARDS at the center of chain...it should have a slack of 15~20mm. If it becomes more than 35mm you need to adjust the chain tightness.Originally posted by aman15 View Postthankyou psr ji and ashwinprakas ji
and one more doubt how much distance should be there between the chain and swing arm ??When Was The Last Time,You Did Something For The First Time.

I don't know who're the jokers who has done this damage!!! I mean, if there's really something bad on this thread, its acceptable, but if this is for someone's personal gain, that I cannot accept. Atleast let the blokes put forth what's wrong on this thread before the poor rating!!!
This is the first time I am going through this thread, gave it the yummy 5* which it deserves.
Maybe there are some that do not like you or CBR 250R(G
) being popular - (next time buy a bike that has no R or G in its name
) , most likely both. I see no other reason to it! But man, who cares!
After all, this not a cut/copy paste club thread is it?
Err maybe you really got to try your hand at baking you know! Its more complicated than biking!

PSRji cleared it all. The golden oil is Dot4 which is right according to your abs bike. (even non abs owners can shift as it is an upgrade). So they changed the master cylinder.. And what reason did they give for mismatch?? The best thing would be to get in touch with another cbr owners in your city who have spend good time with the bike. Still if you have any other problems, go through this thread and ask if you dont find any relevent info.Originally posted by alurysharad2008 View Posti have golden color. and they changed it with nissin nw. when i went to ask. also i have been having problems from day 1. what should i do ?

Problems as in what? And if they exist from day 1, why did you take the delivery? You gotta risk it.. to get da biscuit !!!

It didn't have any waiting. Booked it on Friday, took the delivery on Sunday. I was lucky. I called all the showrooms in Delhi. All the showrooms had a waiting for 10 - 15 days after booking but I was lucky that the last showroom had a black std., HRC std and a HRC ABS.I booked black but got lucky to get HRC when taking the delivery.Originally posted by thebiker2k2 View PostCongrats!!
