  • Hey guys just completed 1 yr of ownership with "THE TOURER ".

My red non-abs baby has completed 7800 kms on odd reading.
But with just two major ride so far.....

My front and rear brake pads are still ok and it can run some mores K kms.... As per ASC guy.

Sooner or latter will be changing the rubbers with PSD. Thats the major issue which has scared me 2 times till date. Engine has become bit more smoother after 4th service @ 6.5k kms.

"Cylcon" chain lube from pidilite is doing good for CBR250R chain. Had been using for last appox. 1.5k kms. One spray lasts appox. 700 kms and attracts lesser dust then the MOTUL Chain lube. Easier to carry during long ride due smaller size then Motul.

So, an HRC ABS was also available? - may I know what showroom is it? Been waiting for one since eternity now...

                Thanx aman15
only Pashankar center near Nalstop is good, they have people who knw how to handle the cbr and are sincere unlike the one near senapatibapat road. I have my bike there for servicing the first time they lost one of the Alan bolts, the bike wasn't properly cleaned, they turn a blind eye towards the problems that u tell them b4 giving bike for servicing, so if u want to give ur bike to Pashankar give to Nalstop svc.
since ur saying the price is ok ill order it
                Thanx once more

Rs.4500 for Paddock and you say 'little too low'
what made you say this? If you happen to get it made, some have managed to get it under rs.1k and are working well, you can even find some well finished ones on ebay around 2-3k and even the one honda supplies is not so costly. Its different at diffent places averaging around 3k. I would say 4.5k for the one Honda supplies is way too high.

Sorry i wasnt having the idea of paddock for under 3k but as compared to bachoo motors (7k) and planet Dsg (7.6k) . I thought it is quiet cheap...

                    • Pashankar is a very well reputed dealer of Honda 2-wheelers in Pune for a long time now, i had bought Dio from them about 6 years ago, it felt good as new, every time i brought it back from servicing.

my CBR is my first bike and every time i think i have any issues, the Nal Stop servicing center is where i go for the solutions, they have some really good people there.

I guess the HRC ABS was booked. BTW V. D Honda Dwarka sec 7 has got new stock yesterday. You might want to try. But the Puneet Bhatia of Absolute Honda was a nice person to meet with. He is also planning to get accesories in the showromm including exhausts, helmets, jackets, knee & elbow guards etc. but would take sometime since the show room is just 2 mnths old. He was also talking about getting the bikes custom painted at his place if any customer wanted to do so...

No no!!! I need clear pics of the window through which you can see the brake oil inside the master cylinder, sry that I should've specified that earlier

By rotor, I mean the disc plate that you see on the wheel
By caliper kit, I mean the BYBRE/Nissin unit that is mounted at the fork bottom

One thing that is confirmed is that, your master cylinder is of BYBRE, ideally the caliper kit should also be BYBRE, let's see if that's the case or compare it with other CBR 250R owner's who own ABS.

Holy crap!!! How did this happen

                            • Hello friends

this is my first post on xbhp..
                              i bought red color honda cbr250r C-ABS on 19th jan 2012
been happy with the bike apart from bad tyre grip on wet roads , the tyres do skid on wet roads when brakes are applied strongly
haven't done any adventure on the bike since i am very busy with my final year graduation.. will do long tours with the CBR mumbai group once i am done with my graduation

                              @ AARGEE
sir ur posts had helped me a lot when i was doing research on which bike to buy. so thanx a lot

You have only posted pics of master cylinder which is definitely of bybre even the cyllinder cap is fitted wrongly.

                                First Pic:
The nissin cyllinders will have brake oil window at the red circled position instead oh the arrowed position where bybre have the window.

                                Second Pic:
Can you post the pics of your rotor and calliper because c-abs version will have nissin callipers with 3 pistons(circled) and a rotor with another small disk(arrowed) for abs other than the main disk.

What happend with your gear lever?
