Getting one locally shouldn't be a big deal though if not available, you can order one - mMost of the China/Thai based exporters do sell online and ship for free or for very less charges compared to US based dealers. The main problem with local/china-made projectors is reliability. And the branded ones from Philips are way too expensive.

what we get here are pretty small in size.. and the empty housing looks odd. these one look good.."A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel."

The ones listed on the site are the "regular sized" ones found everywhere else in India.Originally posted by veryhiphop View PostIn Delhi..karol bagh..contact http://www.mxsmotosport.com/...they used to get the work done and delver to other states too...Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. Well I understood the size from the pics - it fills the dome very well compared to standard sized ones. It probably belongs to a set meant for bigger cars/SUVs. That's why I suggested that maybe you could check locally if any projectors designed for SUVs would fit.Originally posted by theironhorse99 View Posti guess pics are US based.. ones.. i meant these projectors are large.. like bigger in size .

The name "Bi-Xenon" is self-explanatory in itself - it contains both the high beam and low beam on the same bulb unlike the traditional Xenons which were either High or Low only. You can't use the pass-light, but high-low is not an issue.Originally posted by somen1984 View PostAs projector light takes some time to glow, so will it be advisable to use only projector in a headlight ?
How will pass work ? when lights are off ?
BTW the projector doesn't take time to glow!!! It's the HIDs inside the projector which take time to warm up to the optimum operating temperature. So yes, if you are planning to ride in the dark, you'd do good to let the HL warm up a bit before taking off into the darkness.Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. I kind of left the idea of fitting projector as i like the reflector of cbr very much im running on a 3800K 35w HID with the reflector (illumination is satisfieng in any given condition no glare on oncaoming traffics a focus is adjusted)and 42 smd parking lights..Last edited by BAMBI143; 03-21-2013, 07:30 PM.HISTORY IS NOT ABOUT WHO IS RIGHT BUT ABOUT WHO WRITES IT.......

From a 55w halogen to 35w 3800k ?? That wont make much of difference. . Please post pics.. if the reflector doesn't spread everywhere then I will just get a 6k 55w HID..Originally posted by BAMBI143 View PostI kind of left the idea of fitting projector as i like the reflector of cbr very much im running on a 3800K 35w HID with the reflector (illumination is satisfieng in any given condition no glare on oncaoming traffics a focus is adjusted)and 42 smd parking lights..

cbr reflector is well designed(I've noticed the right side spread is cut a bit)..if focus adjusted properly no glare faced by oncoming traffic ..I commute daily and occaisonal small tours ..I'm happy..going above 4300K (be it 35 or 55)is not needed if utility is concerned IMO..my friend is using a 55w(claimed but actually almost 70w) actual 4300k HID on his cbr provided by navnish nagesh(bangalore based guy) you can opt for it never seen such intense light coupled wid cbr reflector its worth using..Originally posted by bbsrailfan View PostWhat about the glare faced by oncoming traffic?HISTORY IS NOT ABOUT WHO IS RIGHT BUT ABOUT WHO WRITES IT.......

Happy b'day 7600!
Hi gentlemen,
As post 7600 from RG celebrates 1st birthday today, I am completing 1 month with the junior. By the way, I will be touching 600 KM on it. Till now, I don't feel any roughness etc to be ready for first service. But I hope run in is complete with first 500KMs and thus ready for an oil change. So, using the first 30 day service this weekend to replace oil and oil filter.
Is there anything ASC does for the first service other than oil and filter change?.
Got this from post 7600
Q. Can I get my bike's 1st service done before 1000 Kms?
A. Yes you can; but wait to feel the roughness in engine; getting it done in 100-200 Kms or around 800 Kms are overkill. Getting it done at right time is more important.
......
Q. In how many days should I complete the run-in?
A. Per the owner's manual, it is 1000 Kms or 30 days from the purchase date. 30 days is max cap, but you're welcome to do it in 2-3 days as well (its little riskier to complete in 1 day & strongly worded against)
.....
Q. Is it compulsory to change the oil filter for the 1st service?
A. Yes, it is very important to change to keep the engine clean from finer metal particles from the run-in. If possible change the engine oil & filter once before carrying out the 1000 Kms service, even if you've to pay for the nominal labour charges
Does run-in is specified as 1000KM or is it inferred from first service max odo limit?. The manual I think advises to be no fast acceleration/stops for first 500KM. So, can the run-in be inferred as 500KM then?.
