Metro manufactures Conti Go! here. I mean they are one and the same. Let me check the make of mine.
Oh- remember growing up seeing bicycle tire advertisement from them - it's song still lingering . After many years it comes back, unexpectedly to life on the Ceeber!.

Hmm must check my tires then, perhaps the tires are to blame for my slight wobbling.

From the pictures of new CBR 250R i have noticed that they are coming with MRF tires , i really fell bad if they dump us with Continental :P and give the new bikes with MRF.

Can you tell me about the email address to which you sent your complaint regarding the oil mistake.

I wish to tell them about the consumable fiasco and a request for the tire inspection, rather than going to and fro from the service.

Yes it's covered under warranty. Get it replaced ASAP. I got mine replaced too. I just recorded of a video of it malfunctioning n displayed the same to service manager, he readily agreed n changed under warranty.

                            Question to all CBR Owners,

During SHIM change is it mandatory to do Valve De-Carbonizing which involve some Led machine stuff .....What is this thing ? It will cost 1500/- separately.

Or it is just another way to loot customers, please share your thoughts.

dont think ever heard of that for cbr's... and if it has to be done then shudn't be for te valves alone but the head...
also shim replacement has nothing majorly related to valve decarconization as they wudn't need to open the valves
but just lift the cam shaft /rocker arm and place the new shim is the clearance is more... just the head cover needs to be taken off

LED machine ?? or lathe machine ???

                              dont think so its needed..

neways to identify if needed or not ?? how many Km's yet on odo ...

Sorry for the spelling....it is lathe machine.

                                ------

Today I was at my SVC to change the Ball Racer Set which will cost 1090/- (parts only) as it need replacement told by the SVC mech during my last servicing which was March,2013 as well SHIM change, but due to lack of time I can't make this happen till today.

Today after a short TD, SVC mech forward my bike to the Job Card section for two jobs, but during the time of making the Job Card Service Advisor starting the conversation something like 'Sir, you must do the Engine valve De-Carbonizing done as you already paid for the labor charge to open the Engine Head, we need to take the following (god knows what is that) stuff to lathe machine and polish it and re-install, it will cost 1500/- separately & the whole work will be done properly, we are suggesting this to do now as we open the head, else it need to done separately another time when needed'

They will polish the below part or some thing like this.

Anyhow my bike 13k kms on odo and it will complete 2 years this August.

                                1st Gen CBR250 STD version.

                                Thanks.....
