              • Clip on mods

I rode my CBR up from Pune to Rajkot in May. The riding posture gave me hell and I was determined to do something about it.

Here is the mod I designed and implemented.

If anybody is interested, please PM me and I will send the details. The mod would be easy to remove prior to an ASC visit to avoid a warranty void

                Regards,

                  • Tried both - the yoshimura and the two brothers (atul_chang's) slip-on exhaust systems.
In Looks - all would agree on this 1 - Yoshimura wins hands down.
Sound - I preferred yoshimura over TBR.But this depends on personal choice i guess.
Performance - Cant comment, as it needs fare bit of riding with both the exhausts before any actual noticeable difference.Or atleast a run on the highway

                    Price :
TBR - Performance Racing store - 24K (aluminium), 28K (Carbon fiber)
                    Yoshimura - DSG - 28K (steel)

                    cheers.

Stick to the stock filters,K&N is not going to do any magic.

I do agree, its not going to do any magic.
Its better to change the exhaust.

                          • Hi folks,

Just came back from my First tour on my CBR.

Delhi - Swarghat & bilashpur - Delhi (~800kms only, not much, but to much for a virgin tourer, ) though my cbr had an accident and have a crack on fairing

This was my longest trip on my CBR so far, starting my touring with this.
It was hard on me after around 150kms, had to break here and there, and as for changing the posture, to be frank when loaded with luggage there is not enough space to change it,

Once i completed around 250+kms, and my body realized that this moron won't stop at anything, it melted with the CBR, and completed rest of the journey with any problem.

And the power of the Engine on highway, I'm loving it,
It was really an amazing experience, /cheers cbr

I am very much interested to increase height of clip ons on my bike. I fell elbow pain during short and long rides. Could you please let me know details. Also provide your mobile no, so that we can talk each other.
