But i dont know how he has removed the bends of the fins ( he told me he himself removed the fins by using needle ) , and if u observe clearly the bend fins radiator and the present one you will notice a lot of differences. WHAT HE MIGHT HAVE DONE ?? Any clues guys ??

its a diffrent grill alltogether..now that the grill wont change so a new radiator all together.. ideally he has jacked up someone else's bike now.
if you see my radiator you die laughing.. it gets a pressure wash every single week and not even once i have encountered any single heat issue even in neck deep traffic besides
getting some heat to my legs.. the radiator is very efficient.. dont worry about the bent fins.. they will eventually bend even with the road debris etc etc..

whats the difference between default HONDA engine oil and Motul, castrol and shell?

How come Honda engine oil is cheaper than the rest?

regarding the statement.. lemme explain the old - gold way...

remember how we used to tilt our scooters before we could start them.. the old age priya/bajaj..

similar way.. while the bike is on side stand.. tilt it so the front tyre is in air.. balance it somehow and then check the freeplay of the handle.. from one to another end..
see if you find it heavy.. IF YES then its an overtightened Coneset...

IF NO.. proceed to another test.. sit on the bike. grab the front brake lever and try to move it front and back.. that will eventually make the suspension go up and down
with an engaged front brake.see if you feel any where getting a "Tak" or if the handle feels supple without any discrepancy..

IF YES then its a loose coneset. get it FIXED..
Thanks @theironhorse99. did test these two - found no probs.
Went to ASC today morning. It took 45 minutes to get the mechanic.
Removed whole of front. To our surprise we found that, front grease on bearing of steering assembly is melted and was flowing down.
Looks like someone blasted pressured water from below. Mechanic cleaned the bearings and refitted the front. Put 29PSI on both tires. We both took it to spin
Whoa- with those fairings, front light/cockpit removed, bike felt very light to ride !. I found bike tracking straight till 35kmph. I couldn't conclusively say that yet.
Refitted everything paid the bill and rode back home (total time spent at ASC - 3 Hrs). In our layout test rode for 5 minutes - now I am 95% satisfied - till about 35 kmph I am tracking straight - with hands off the bar. But will do a true test in the highway this afternoon. Plan to take it to say 80 and see if bike tracks straight with hands off till say 30kmph. If it does 3 out of 5 times, I am going to put me out of this niggle. Fingers crossed.
BTW checked another CBR there - it too had the right side handle having more steering play (notch issue) to right compared to left. So, this is not a unique issue. No work on this front.

Reg wobbling prb,, ASC guys at my place got my tires inspected by service manager of Contigo and he approved to get me a new front tire as he found the issue of wobbling is due to threading in the front tires . I still dint understood but felt like checking the wobbling issue again once i get a new front tire. At present am waiting for the call from ASC

Perhaps the tires are to blame themselves. Even the tires are not smooth.

. Yesterday's test on the highway for about 40KMs - was good. Testing was tough because of too much cross winds. No issues with any drifts. Reached 80 kmph and let it go on slight incline and plain stretches using road paint as reference till 20kmph. Bike tracks straight normally, there is no repeatable drift to any direction during tests. Though root cause of original slight right bias is not known - I am OK with all that ends well in cases like these. Thanks to you guys for your insights. I don't think my Conti's have issue yet. Though, had some rear grip issue in the first 500Kms - I am slowly allowing bike to lean bit more now.

the simple concept with leaning with a CBR is not going like a race rider going all way to one side... rather its a small bike... a small switch to toe position and a lil pressure on either knee will take the bike wherever you want... and you can lean a lot more than you'd have thought... with the conti's too....

caution : Using conti's even for straight roads may be hazardous to your health. smoke rubber at your own risk..

else switch to a better brand..

Yes. I am amazed how nimble CBR turned out to be. Initially, I was thinking it is too bulky with fat tires to be agile.
On tires - I got your word of caution, you already said that before . However, I am taking my chances for say first 6K Kms.

Hm regarding the tires and the leaning issue, when I was in Bangalore and the bike in a relative new condition after the first service, there was a slight wobbling which before I let it was present. But still when and tested it for high speed at the NICE? road[ I am still confused on the roads though] well post 100 there was no wobbling and got my knee down more than once.

But regarding the nimbleness of the cbr I am ambivalent on the issue, initially it felt too front heavy for me, but as I got used to ti the cbr felt at least to me to be mass centered that is when I knee down, the bike has the tendency to come back to a more perpendicular position. or if it is normal for a bike to behave in such a manner during knee down[s] I am not sure.

For the contigos, I have not used any other brand of tires such as Dunlop or others apart for the T.V.S ones for my discover, so far the tires seems to be good, once when I went to Mysore and on my return when I was caught in an evening shower the tires performed respectively, although as pointed out by several members, the lack of a a central ridge did pose some issues. I experienced rear wheel skidding although it was on gravel rather on water.

Lastly I would conclude that given the cbr's stock tires and my tendency to knee down i would like to invest in some sliders, problem is I do not know where I can find them in India.

Regarding agility, I rode a friends R6 for some distance and then got back to my CBR, n boy it felt heavier to handle!

Regarding the second photo it seems the rider is twisting and that is not proper.
Any how regarding the R6 how does your friend maintain it and get parts for it? as R6 has not been released in India as of yet, does the R1 and R6 share similar exchangeable components or the friend imports parts?

Yes, still quite a bit to do to get that perfect position. But a knee down is a knee down none the less.

The R6 does not share any major components with the R1. Every city has its own local SBK mechanics who source all the required parts. In any case, you get all the major parts online for even very old models.
