Did 4th service today.
Changed oil and filter, Lubed chain and that's it.
They again overtightened the chain a bit, so bike feels little uneasy now. Will sort it out tomorrow. :beer:

Gave my bike a gentle waterwash at my friends place. No high pressure, especially on the radiator fins,. I was extremely careful in avoiding water into the engine components. About half an hour later when I started my bike, The idle was uneven and the engine was getting killed randomly. After about 2 minutes or so, Everything settled and the bike was idling steadily at 1.2k rpm. For a second I thought that water would've entered the fuel tank[emoji33] or the spark plug would've reached the end of its life. Though everything is fine now since I had to ride about 10kms in the city traffic to reach home. The thing is, what could've been the reason for the engine turning off at that time? Anyone else had a similar experience?

Happened to me many times when I used to wash it with pipe. Water gets inside all the places and as you start engine it will die frequently. After 4-5 minutes bike heats up and everything works fine as water is evaporated. Ride one mate if it revs well, all is well.

Guys, yesterday I was riding back to my home from office at about 7 in the evening. When I was about 2 kms from my home I switched to high beam because its a lonely quiet road with no traffic, and the lights went out, only the pilot lamps were on. I was doing 30kmph so I slowed down to a crawl and switched off the lights and then turned them ON again. The low beam came up along with the pilots lamps but as soon as switched back to high beam, the lights went off again. So I repeated the On OFF procedure and rode home with low beam. After reaching home I checked the lights again, and they worked perfectly fine (both low and high beam).

The bike is 10 months old and completed its 5th service a day before yesterday and this has happened first time. Can anyone help me find the problem. I\\\'m a bit scared, what if I was doing 80 on a highway and the lights go off.

Has anyone else experienced this?? What could be the possible cause??

Got myself an RX stand. Costs about 300 rupees. Now lubing and adjusting chain is easy.

Father is in the army so got it through CSD.
95k ex showroom
Extras like accessories, insurance, registration etc made the cost 1.08. Much better than the normal cost of 1.31 on road!

hello people,
Did my third service today at odo reading 2941 kms. The service people changed the coolant fully when i just told them to check the level . Had an argument and finally settled over free chain lube , it was already too late and i was totally drained to argue further.. i now want to check if they really changed the coolant. Please guide me on the steps to do the same. Also all those experts out there plss plss plsss advice if servicing the bike at home is better, visiting service centre gives me goosebumps every single time. I decided today that from next service i will get my hands greased and do everything myself. . Do give me some words of hope courage and confidence that the bike will run stronger even if its serviced properly at home . . Looking forward to your valuable inputs. I cant see my babe break down on any given dayy....

Cost of R15 Version 2.0/1.0 front fairing

Can any one please tell what is the cost of R15 version 2.0 front fairing. Is it possible to fit version 1.0 front fairing in version 2.0. and what is the cost of R15 version 1.0 front fairing as well.

Nope, I just bought the bike there because CSD facility isn\'t available in Vadodara for Yamaha
