Yes the RVM is available as single unit for the required hand side. It costs around 300-350 and labour charge extra.

There is screw at the bottom of mirror stalk which you can loosen as per your need.

My advice, do not loose the mirrors.. If you do that, it will start to fold automatically at 80+ kmph due to wind blast. And unless the mirrors are super tight ( unable to move them ), they will fold when hit because of the force and you wont lose balance like something hitting the handlebars. So don't worry and ride safe 😊

When it comes to safety no one out here "jokes" or is being "sarcastic"... Grow up!!! This is a forum for serious riders and when you ask questions, people are not going to sugar coat anything that is obviously immature to the extent of serious injuries and even death. Instead of introspecting on what you did wrong and ensuring it does not happen again, you are going on about how to get away with something like this if it happens again!!!

Anyway your life, your decisions.... Just consider this; next something like this happens, you may be in no condition to ask anything on this forum.

                As Abhimanyu31 stated is correct.

Cars and other vehicles don't come from nowhere, if you need to change lane, you need to do this, mirror, signal and manoeuvre, in that order, be certain at each stage before moving to the next, it's really quite simple and can save your bacon.

You can't fight the retards, you just have to learn to live with them.

Beware of Bread, don't say I didn't warn you!
More than 98 percent of convicted criminals are bread eaters !
Statistics show that more than 75 % of violent crimes are committed within 24 hours of eating bread !
Bread is known to be extremely addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water, actually begged for bread after just two days !
Bread has been proven to kill. Scientists have now uncovered alarming evidence that 100% of the people who eat bread will eventually die !

                  Hello mates.
In spite of my previous post regarding the metallic ringing noise exactly at 5k rpm in first 4 gears while accelerating and decelerating , i have had no response. I want to know what it can be , before taking the bike to the SVC. Also i have started to observe some minor vibrations passed on to the footpeg at this 5k rpm point. The bike is totally normal at all other rpm range. Please do give your valuable suggestions.

To be honest no one can identify the problem without hearing to the noise when the issue is noise related.. That too if it is a rare issue... It would be better if you show your bike to a mechanic in SVC and then post here about his inputs and observation..
Regarding vibration some amount of vibration will be there in all bikes.. Don't worry about it as long as it is not vibrating too much..

+1, Keviv, but if i were to take a wild guess based on the common metallic ringing noise that you mentioned. based on the experience of others and mine i would say its the valve clearance/ tappet noise. confirm this with svc and ask them to adjust it if needed.

Today handed over my bike to the SVC for second service at 1700km.There was a sound coming from the front forks so I asked them to rectify it.The SVC manager told me that the front forks needs to be replaced. They said they would claim the amount under the warranty .So, has anyone experience a weird sound from the front forks when travelling on bad roads. They also mentioned that the sound might get eliminated by changing the suspension oil???.so i would have to pay for the oil.Can anyone give me the cost of the suspension oil.

I thought new front suspension comes seal packed with oil already in it. Does it come in pieces for the r15?. If not then if they are changing the entire bloody setup, you shouldn't have to seperately pay for fork oil too.

First of all, please dont be offended by the replies regarding the mirror problem, we dont want any of our brothers to get hurt . And for the answer to that question, the mirror is designed in such a way that when it is hit from the front, its screws at the base become loose and the mirror unit folds inwards, towards the bike. So even if it gets hit by oncoming car, it should fold inwards and you should not feel the impact strong enough to loose your balance. Just make sure the screws at the base are not overtightened. ie. hit it with your hand to see if it comes loose and goes inwards.

Now, coming on to the sound coming from the front forks, it is characteristics of all the R15s to make a squeky noise when it goes over a speed bump or hits a pot hole, you should not be worried about it, it is present in all R15s. But if the noise is loud and continuous, then it might need replacement. Also it would be very difficult to judge the problem without listening to the noise.

SO if the forks are continuously making noise, get them replaced, if they make the noise only when you go over a speed hump. It is normal.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

For the past few days, I've been experiencing this squeaking noise from the rear disc when the bike started and driven. It is clearly audible and almost everyone on the streets would be able to hear it. The sound settles off pretty soon in about a few kilometres. I believe that it is because the caliper is in contact with the disc. I drove for a few kilometers without even using the rear brake, well at an average speed of 20-30kph and observed the disc. It was literally so hot. The front seems to be cool though it was used all the time. I know that the rear disc used to heat up and it was normal but this sound is getting over my head during every cold start. Bike's odo is now at 14000kms. Brake fluid topped up at 10k kms. All was fine till a few days ago when I was on a rainy ride. Attaching a few pics, Please do forgive for the pathetic quality. Hope anyone would show some light on this.

I too have the same problem initially when i start to ride the bike, but after the disk becomes hot the sound is no more. The squeaking sound comes from my front disk brake.Since the sound is very much audible, its better to get it looked by the SVC guys. The sooner the better because the more you ride, the calipers will get worn out faster.

The SVC mechanic after riding the bike told me that the fork needs to be changed or the oil needs to be replaced. They said that it will take 2-3 days for getting it fixed.
