Anyone had any similar issue? Damn[emoji20]
I dont know how you enjoy R15 with pillion :/ Anyway it costs Rs.214 ( May vary slightly at SVC ) Here is the link if you want to order online ( Shipping charges apply)

      Oh, one more thing...
Now I just have to make sure that the voltage and wattage of the default bulb and the aftermarket bulb should be the same. right.

Handle bars ain't bent bro nor the fork oil is leaking. Thank you for the inputs.

Voltage will be/Should be same 12V. But led's consume less power than stock, so less wattage and it doesn't matter. In fact its an advantage if you use 55w headlamps.

Weird thing noticed today, in the morning while warming up, the RPM only rises to 1.7k max(not very cold mornings) but after riding a while if I stop and then start the bike the idling RPM raises to 2k and stays there for 10-15 seconds.
Any idea why this happens ?

On another note, at 7k kms the bike required valve clearance adjustment. Its free to do from SVC but they'll take two days here

Weird. Even in extremely cold and rainy climates, my bike idles at 1.5k rpm when cold and settles down at around 1.1-1.2k rpm. When turned off and on after warming up, it straightaway falls to 1.1-1.2k rpm.

In the morning it warms up exactly like you mentioned, no hiccups. But on the second starting the idling rpm goes straight to 1.8.-1.9k. And stays there for a good 10 seconds.
I don't know whats the cause, my tappets needs adjustment, it can be related to that, I'll know soon

Could be a dirty throttle body, if you remove it to clean you may as well take the injector for cleaning. Also could be a clogged air filter.
Beware of Bread, don't say I didn't warn you!
More than 98 percent of convicted criminals are bread eaters !
Statistics show that more than 75 % of violent crimes are committed within 24 hours of eating bread !
Bread is known to be extremely addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water, actually begged for bread after just two days !
Bread has been proven to kill. Scientists have now uncovered alarming evidence that 100% of the people who eat bread will eventually die !

I was planning to replace the air filter, SP and get the tappets adjusted. Let's see if those eliminates the problem, otherwise I'll take her to a better SVC and do throttle body cleaning and injector cleaning like you advised.

What would be the ideal price for a 2013 sept, 7500km run special edition r15 v2, bike looks very well maintained with service done as per manual, asking price was 108000rs. Is it a good deal
                          ?

Injector cleaning so soon. Christo, have you been not filling clean fuel ? Always find a good clean bunk for fueling.
Impure fuel is slow poison for the bike.

me being a new rider and upgrading from a scooty(honda activa) do you think r15 would be a good bike for me and would it be able to keep a rider interested for 3-4 years
i do not mind the sporty riding posture
i do not have much experience with bikes and this would be my first bike

Its tappet noise, SVC confirmed it. So no need for injector cleaning.
Agreed bad fuel is slow poison, I usually fill from the most busy(read; more business) pump.

Scooter = always in correct gear, twist the throttle and you're away.

R15 = finding correct gear in slow moving traffic is a pain, if you're not in correct gear bike refuses to accelerate.
But the extra effort is worth the reward and the sound after 7k rpm is delightful

Please test ride before confirming, if you're a pure city rider I suggest you to look for a bike which offers good low end torque.

Edit: my clutch cable broke yesterday, my 3 month old bike left me stranded on the road. Had to ride to SVC without using clutch, which was 16kms away. ( it was a new experience for me )

Quality is going down at Yamaha it seems. owners, if you're going for a long ride, please keep a spare cable with you.
