Hey guys, My motorcycle's headlight fairing has scratched up alot and needs replacement. I got the 2013 white and blue special edition variant and kinda like the decals the 2014 white and blue's headlight fairing has got. My doubt is whether both the shades of the white colour in 2013 fairing is the same?. If I go for the 2014's headlight fairing, then will there be any colour difference between the 2014's headlight fairing and rest of the 2013's fairings?

Yes, they go with each other quite well. No color shade difference.
I, myself own an 2013 White/Blue(MotoGP) one and while i was getting my bike insured the SVC by-mistakely changed my headlight fairing with the new 2014 White/Blue one and i loved it! Looks way better than Stock.
On the added bonus it costs 1k less as well.

Here's a pic if you want an overview of how it would look:

              Hey guys,

Would be soon completing 12k on the odo, 2 years with the bike as well, and it's time for another service. The manual specifies replacing coolant every 2 year and would be doing that as well.

The manual also mentions to REPLACE FRONT SUSPENSION FORK OIL every 10k Kms. Do the SVC people insist on it, and is that mandatory, and if so, can someone who's done it please mention what's the cost involved? Also what are the changes observed after that in daily riding.

I'm reluctant to let the SVC guys open something that's working fine.

              Thank you

                Hello again guys,

Didn't want to make the last post too big, so reposting.

At the start of this monsoon, the bike began giving jerks at low rpm in 1st and 2nd gear. Not lugging, which happens at very low rpms.

There is sudden loss of power, and sudden bursts when the throttle is pulled. This happens only in MONSOONS. Had happened last year as well, and Spark plug cap was the culprit.

Thing is, the problem begins only after riding for 4-5kms in the mornings. Just when the radiator fan starts. How does the spark plug cap only act up after riding some Kms?

Has anyone else faced such an issue, it is recurring for me every monsoons. Last year, the SVC guys had done
                1) Fuel pump service - ₹2000
                2) Injector cleaning
                3) Fuel tank cleaning, suspecting water mixed with fuel.

                Total cost - ₹2850
THIS HAD NOT SOLVED MY PROBLEM.

Later, on my next visit for the SAME PROBLEM, some other SVC mechanic solved the problem simply by replacing the spark plug cap.

I'm sure there are other R15 owners facing this issue.
Any suggestions, remedies are welcomed. Riding has become very difficult because of it.

                Thank you.

Hi, Since the bike is out of warranth now. I suggest you find a nice good mechanic in your city and let him service it. I never trust the service engineers.

Yeah that'd be better in terms of service cost too.

I am also planning a longer ride from Noida to Rishikesh and new Tihari. Are there any extra precautions that I should take other than that given in the manual?

                        Thanks in advance,

also is there any one from Noida, who can tell me about the JM Motors service center and if It's good or not?
Now you know how the JM motor is ???
I am also going to buy from Noida.
                        Please tell.
