      I have changed the low beam to a 65W. High beam is still 35W. Didn't notice any problem on the reflectors.

        So finally gave bike to svc. Odo @26k and the bike drinks oil, About 100ml approx for each 1000 kms.
        Svc guys suspect sceatched bore, piston etc. There's no smoke though, slight smoke appears at redline.

              R15 wouldnt support 2x55 watt bulb setup, with both the beams on sooner or later your battery would drain and i had faced it in b2b traffic.Get a good 35watt hid setup in low beam and 55watt in high beam.

              Stock power consumption
              35+35=70 watts
              Current=70/12=6 amps approx

              With hid and 55 watt setup
              35+55=90watts
              Current=90/12=7.3 amps
              Now this difference of 1.3 amps can be compensated by changing the pilot and numberplate bulbs to cheap LEDS.I had the same setup until i sold the bike and it didnt drain my battery.

                  Hey there, I know a place in Kanakpura road of Bengaluru who deals with cowl and can customize the cowl with desired color too.
                  Try reaching them through facebook with their page named as Fusioncustomz (I do not know the actual spelling though, Google it )
                  Apart from them there are many others out in here but I do not know them [emoji14]

                  If the oil is being reduced at such a rate then it for sure is an issue with your bore. If can be rectified though and all you need is a good mechanic and a worker at leathe. But your problem shall be solved by SVC so no worries B|

                    Depending on how hard you ride, that might be okay.

                      I have been facing an issue for the past 1 week, when ever I use the front brake there is a weird sound coming from the front disk brake. The sound persists even while riding. One thing I noticed was that the wear on the front tyre is not symmetrical one side to more worn than the other. The front disk has also some scratches. Can this be some how related to misalignment of the front tyre, I have gone through some bad potholes. The odo reading is 7K+ Click image for larger version

                        Hi Arun,

                        Since you are in Bangalore, suggest you spend some time in JC Road.

                        I bought the 90/80 R17 tyre for my P220 from a small shop named Vishnu tyres (opp. Cherry Agencies) in JC Road. The dealers don't stock it based on my experience as well.

                        I spent almost 0.5 day looking for it. Patience pays!

                          I don't see it's asymmetrically worn by looking at the picture.
                          Those aren't scratches on the disc but the result of usage of disc brake. What happens when you apply the brake is that the disc pads which are placed on either sides of a disc which go inside the caliper (black color block with 2 cylinders) bite the disc plate and hence such lines are present.
                          It's common in all the bikes and you can peace out because it's not an issue at all [emoji6]

                              Sorry for not answering that.
                              Get your disc pads checked as it occurs if the pads are worn out and if not get your disc pads cleant (they rub it against Emery paper to clear off the dust and level it and put it back by before that they brush the disc plate with Emery and proceed)
