Its a Gold colored bottle. And is recommended in the manual as well, Good luck finding it!!! They won't even sell it to you from the service station for some reason!!! Unless you are doing a service.
because I'm going to show the photo to the lubricant store guy to get it.
Also is the bottle available only in 5L containers as shown in that site?

I'm following that threadOriginally posted by devesh38 View PostI saw a post with pics on teambhp forum. One guy had used the saddle bags for his duke. He was using Bullet-sized saddlebags (company peak)
Although he mentioned it was not a perfect solution as the saddle bags kept shifting forward during the ride.

I'm searching for my options and planning to visit the Cramster shop here in Bangy some time.
If you had booked earlier this researching pain could have been avoidedOriginally posted by vishnukuttan1988 View Posthi all ,
can anyone pls summarize the all the probs that have poped out..
it wil be of great help for me to make a final decision.
thanx..

Anyway, some of them are here. I would suggest you to skimp through the pages to find all of them.
Fuel smells and leakages (Smell can be lived with IMHO)
Coolant spills/level dipping issue
Hard suspensions
Gear shift problems? (Not everyone is complaining!)
Wind blast at high speeds (Obvious!)
You will really have to go through the pages for the rest buddy

@NaveenRK
This is the Castrol Radicool coolant that i found on the India site.
Castrol India - Castrol Radicool Heavy Duty Coolant
I don't remember if the one used at the service station had heavy duty written on it. But it was a golden container and it was a premix (pour directly, no need to dilute with water).
Also, on the page check the package sizes available. 500ml to 210 ltr
I like 'em Naked

topic approved and merged.Originally posted by fr3quenzy View PostHello, just before 1 hr i went to test drive of the new KTM 200 Duke. After 10-15 minute ride, I came on following conclusion :-
1. Great Pick up
2. Good handeling on smooth curves
3. Suspension is a bit uneven or what ever you say, but dosent handle small patches on road as good as the other bike like FZ or CBR
4. Good Sound
5. Seat is a bit stiff - (As I am from Ahmedabad) its to much hot in Summer, I dont find the seat will be comfortable on those summer times.
Correct me if i am wrong any where, also share your thoughts if you have tested or own it !(Been There Done That) x 3.25

Back from a short ride of 126 kms. 80% of highway and 20% of city riding.
The things which I had trouble with- The RVM is broader than the handle bar.
- Hard seat, I had to stand on the foot pegs just few inches from the seat for every few kms.
- The hand grip is too small to grab. At one point of time my fingers got stuck in the curled position and had trouble straightening. The grip has tiny thorn like protrusions, but as I was using a glove didn't find much of a concern.
- Horn is not much of a use and it is a let down, the exhaust sound out-performs the horn sound.
- Scary at 80 km/h and above due to wind blast.
- While waiting in the signal when the engine is shut off, takes time to start again. So I let the engine idle or started well in advance.
- While taking off from stand still with the right leg on the ground can feel the exhaust on the leg.
- Trouble shifting from second to first and neutral while the engine is idling. Need more pressure.

For horn we need to figure out if they'll void the warranty if we install a different horn. Someone mentioned they had put in P220's horn. Not sure if the ASC guys will accept.

Heres a pic of what i bought, you will on the other hand have to get the "ready-mix" variant, everything else stays the same, it does say HEAVY DUTY on the front too. I had to mix distilled water and in my case i just used some water from my aquaguard...I mixed it 2 parts coolant and 1 part water and then did the top up.Originally posted by NaveenRk View PostThanks for the reply , can you confirm whether you got is the first one on this page:Coolants - Protector Series Heavy Duty Coolant, Protector Series Coolant, Protector Series Radicool and Longlife Coolant Wholesaler & Trader

My replies/comments in bold.Originally posted by Ri$hi View PostBack from a short ride of 126 kms. 80% of highway and 20% of city riding.
The things which I had trouble with- The RVM is broader than the handle bar. Yes it is
- Hard seat, I had to stand on the foot pegs just few inches from the seat for every few kms. - See if anybody in your vicinity can add foam/anti skid leather seat cover.
- The hand grip is too small to grab. At one point of time my fingers got stuck in the curled position and had trouble straightening. The grip has tiny thorn like protrusions, but as I was using a glove didn't find much of a concern. I did mention about the protrusion too. Someone even ended up filing/sanding the poking edges

- Horn is not much of a use and it is a let down, the exhaust sound out-performs the horn sound. Bajaj/KTM should be replacing horns on all bikes (wishful thinking eh?)
- Scary at 80 km/h and above due to wind blast. Tried crouching?
- While waiting in the signal when the engine is shut off, takes time to start again. So I let the engine idle or started well in advance. Takes time to start again as in - you got to keep cranking?
- While taking off from stand still with the right leg on the ground can feel the exhaust on the leg. This happens if you place the leg directly below the foot pet - try placing it a bit forward.
- Trouble shifting from second to first and neutral while the engine is idling. Need more pressure. You will get used to this like fish to water after a bit of use.
