I was the 12th guy to book it.

I booked it on Mar 16th, but later changed the color from Red White to Orange after 2 weeks. Will this delay my delivery?

Sorry, yaswathkonga. It cannot reach anywhere beyond 110 kmh at 8500 RPM unless you heavily modify the final drive ratio which further reduces the pickup.

Yes, if true. But here the speedometer error seems to be more than 24% but what I have read earlier is the error is 18%.

I cannot understand what Honda is trying to sell here on its looks in the name of sportbike.

Quite impossible. Otherwise it is speedometer error.

[QUOTE=Satellite.kid;806864] If the review is to be believed, then CBR150R can achieve 100kmph (on speedo) in 3rd gear, which is bloody awesome for a motorcycle like this!

Yes; it can reach 100 kmh in 3rd gear at 12400 (twelve thousand four hundred) RPM. That too may not be possible as the gear ratios, I guess, are modified for pickup.

Exactly correct even in case of illusions or hallucinations!

To all: Let us wait for impartial reviews from experts and honest feedbacks from the current owners. Up to that, let us not quarrel on pass light/engine kill switch which is absolutely unnecessary on a sport bike like CBR150R. At least, CBR150R is supposed to be a sport bike even though it cannot go beyond 135 kmh at 10500 RPM where the maximum power output is; do not forget it.

As I said earlier, it is speedometer error and your bike cannot reach that speed at 6500 RPM.

Just because of the larger rear sprocket for pickup. Get the slackness adjusted frequently. You can easily do it yourself if you know how to do.

There is no requirement of saying sorry.. thats true.. beleive it or not.

if you do not beleive... please,, i do not require your sorry's

How Do you know that ? Have you ever ridden the bike at 135 Kmh and failed to go beyond that ? There are already reviews from IAMBIKER and couple of other websites. Do you doubt their expertise ?

Hey Rohit, it is normal for a new chain to get a bit slacky around the first 500 something KM. It will be adjusted during your first service. If you feel it is not comfortable now, take it to the ASC and they ll tighten it for you.

See if you get some feedback from 150R owners..the above case was with my 250R

Whether you are happy with your bike or not is not the point here. I am pointing out the actual speed this bike can reach. Please don’t misunderstand me. CBR150R cannot move at that speed at 9000 RPM unless it is modified.

Whether I have ridden this bike is not a relevant here and this bike is not forbidden to anyone including me.

You need not ride a bike to find out the exact real speed it can reach at a certain RPM. The designing engineers too are calculating it before designing the bike; not finding it out by riding after production.

And if you have any doubt about the speed, please check it with GPS.

The bike(or any other vehicle) doesn't behave exactly like in the design drawings. There are lot of factors which affects the vehicle outside the drawing room.

To understand the vehicle`s real performance, test rides are done. A vehicle is made final to production only if the test rides are good. Not on the basis of drawings.

                              • Guys, no hard feelings to anyone here but let someone take a GPS device and test it in real. And be honest ! That's the only way out. Everything else here will be considered presumption.
