It depends on your riding style. There is no specific duration for that. Some do it after 30000 kms some did it after 75000kms. I personally did after 60000kms in my Discover 125. Check your sprocket , there should be a mark to understand if it is gone due for a change.

        Hi All,

Bought my RED beast 18 months back. No major complaints except for tyre skids in straight line.
I had been running 100/90 Phillips Rally on my Pulsar for more than a year (including last summer here in Bangalore).
        Changed to HID with:
Projector bought on ebay (seller in Russia) delivered to India. They are Morimoto Mini. Output is good.
        55W balast (JC Road)
        35 W bulb (JC Road)
I have the Projector which has H1 by default (also has adapters for H4 and H7 bulbs). I took the Projector to JC road and got it retrofitted.

Will share pics. Light output is no match to 100/90 but is more city user friendly. Cut off is amazing with solenoid contraption for Hi-Lo. Lo beam cutoff is just above the bumper/name plate of cars in front. Lo beam does not illuminate the rearview mirror of cars in front.

OT: Any one looking for projector, pl PM me. as my projector came in a pair and I still have the unused one. Will let you know the list price.

Any way of rwducing the ride height on NS? I don't have the money for a Tyre change right now.I recall ride height also had some thing to do with the suspension setting? My suspension is set on the extreme counterclockwise position (ie it can only be rotated clockwise) .Any help would be appreciated.

Knn increses the air intake capacity of the engine with a little more free flow, but to prevent the engine from going lean you will have to upjet the carburettor, the bike will be better but will drink a wee bit more fuel.
Also this will reduce your oil drain intervals since it allows more dust and dirt to get into your engine and f... up the oil, engine life will go down irrespective of what anyone tells you, upjetting will be a lot of trial and error at a competent mechs. And a lot of spark plug reading and carburettor disassembly. You will loose engine life, oil life, warranty and if not done correctly even performance,
But you will gain sound.. that will make you feel like your going fast!
In short, stay away from knn! Period.
I feel knn is just not ment for our dusty, dirty road conditions,
Ps:- you might have to cut or alter the air filter box too, even if you dont it aint worth it,
I feel Knn's are easier on fuel injected bikes since if its a closed loop one usually a remap of the ecu bumps up the afr etc and performance.

Has anyone fitted new headlight bulbs to increase visibility as I think it's current light beam is not bright.

you can check out philips extreme vision or osram night breaker. Both are available as replacement for the stock light and are powerful. But you can find it only in pairs though, as they mainly sell for cars..

Stock rear is 39T sprocket - What we need is a perfect fit 40T sprocket .. who is supplying it ?
Just mailed iRevs india regarding this, may be they've got info about custom sprocketing on 200NS.

                            Abt the lights

^^ also good, white light. But if youre looking for better all round visibility, look no further than the xtreme vision.

Keep us updated if you happen to find more information on this. Till then, i'll go and try the karizma's front for a few 100 kms.

Sorry bro that's all the hint i can give
Instead of asking irevs why dont you buy the 40T meant for karizma and drill a few more holes in the sprocket to fit it on the 6 mounting points? Irevs sprocket was quoted to be 5k. No chain also. What's the use?
