Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hi guys.. alright! Since my last refuel, my bike has ran 290 kms and still 2 bars of petrol is being shown.. it was 3 bars some 15 kms back.. this way what prediction can be made about my mileage ! I know its a really silly question but it just popped in my mind out of nowhere
.. I know I can refuel and calculate myself but this cant be done instantaneously as my daily commute is just around 12 kms and refueling is way far :P .. so please spend part of your valuable time in helping me.. how far approx. will it go before clearing up its mains ?? :P
previously I had cbz xtreme and it returned only aroung 30 kmpl and I am feeling proud of my ns cause its easily giving more than that
within the city !!
P.s. the bike is ran only within the city In these intervals !

That's the major reason I have refrained myself for getting a lock for almost 2 years. But sometimes situation demands.Originally posted by shadowgun View PostLocks are made for only common people not to try stealing.
Never apply locking your expensive helmets (apart from those 200bucks one) in bike, scooter etc. They will get stolen either by cutting the lock or the helmet. Always carry your helmet or try keeping it in parking lockers etc,

Never ever rely on the digital meter readings, it is highly inaccurate and tends to show different values at different time and speed.
Cheers

Thats why you have the service book. Read it first before you ride your vehicle. Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Expected a better reply...asked this here because storage space in our bike is very less and somehow i have adjusted documents, tool kit and first aid..so it was easy to get a answer here...btw why is this forum for? people share their problems to get a solution for their problem....you can always answer by saying go to a service centre, problems cannot be solved on sitting a forum....there are threads like which bike to buy or helmets and riding gears??? do you reply by saying go to a showroom and see , or go to a shop and see...this kind of response is not expected from people like you who have been here since so long...
we are here because we are enthusiast and love our bikes more than any thing and care for it....BeInG BiKeR...!!

Ivin's reply makes perfect sense. You should refer to your service book to learn about the recommended service intervals.Originally posted by Ayush41193 View PostExpected a better reply...asked this here because storage space in our bike is very less and somehow i have adjusted documents, tool kit and first aid..so it was easy to get a answer here...btw why is this forum for? people share their problems to get a solution for their problem....you can always answer by saying go to a service centre, problems cannot be solved on sitting a forum....there are threads like which bike to buy or helmets and riding gears??? do you reply by saying go to a showroom and see , or go to a shop and see...this kind of response is not expected from people like you who have been here since so long...

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hey aayush, second service is from 2000-2500km so yours is 2200km,its better to go to svc tomorrow cuz mine just reach 2000km today so i'm going to SVC tomorrow. Our bike is still in run-in period so everything must be check periodically for long life engine. As you know in 2nd service they only top-up engine oil so regarding this chaging oil,Its good to change engine oil but semi synthetic in second service umm...i'm unsure,i'm planning to use semi synthetic in my third service.so anyone sure about it?feed me.Originally posted by Ivin View PostThats why you have the service book. Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Mate, the SS and FS for a new bike thingy is kinda a bit old, now the newer generation bike engines are having more tighter tolerances and using a FS right form the word go isn't a problem , moreover usually, a liquid cooled engine needs a more thicker and more viscous oil as the engine gets a great deal more hotter that when compared to a air cooled engine, so try to avoid mineral oils for liquid cooled enginesOriginally posted by Tanzing Sherpa View PostHey aayush, second service is from 2000-2500km so yours is 2200km,its better to go to svc tomorrow cuz mine just reach 2000km today so i'm going to SVC tomorrow. Our bike is still in run-in period so everything must be check periodically for long life engine. As you know in 2nd service they only top-up engine oil so regarding this chaging oil,Its good to change engine oil but semi synthetic in second service umm...i'm unsure,i'm planning to use semi synthetic in my third service.so anyone sure about it?feed me.
The people here can choose not to reply to you for the same reason you chose not to read/follow the thread/forum etiquette. There are a few rules you must follow.Originally posted by Ayush41193 View Postwhat are the service intervals for 200ns??..i got my ns on 9/9/13 and did first service on 16/10/13 at 450 km...now when to give it for 2nd service and now 2200 on odo, so should i change engine oil..planning to get motul 5100....
And what kind of reason is that the bike doesn't have enough storage space so you couldn't read the service intervals ? You are given a owners manual with instructions and details so that you can read it and understand.
If so much was your trouble , you could have asked your service center people, surely they must be more knowledgeable than we are here.
From next time, do try to follow such rules, use search option before posting a question and you might just get the answer without having to wait for a reply, again, its a choice, you ignore it then don't be surprised if you get a cold shoulder form others.
Cheers
