My shitty waiting story. Im from Bhubaneswar & I Booked on 19th oct with 30k. i said if the cancellation is only 4k keep only 10k why block my 20k extra as i wont be getting any interest on that for next 60 days. they said its the rule. ok i paid. got a call on 12 dec sir pay the rest amount get your bike by next monday. i got my loan on 16th paid the check on 16th evening they said you will get it by 20th dec, Damn my cheque bounced dont know why, neither the bank are telling anything nor the showroom owner [yet to revived my bounced cheque]. 20th dec paid with DD no chance oh mistake or bounce what so ever. called the owner to ask bout delivery on 27th his grandmother passed away he was busy with work of 10th day[ rituals]. what can i say more at this situation. he said tht ill get mine by jan 1-2 and will conform on returning. 31 oct owner is not answering called up eastern sale head. he said that old bike are no more sold to the dealer, 2014 production bike will be given and ill get mine on 14-15th of jan. so basically i paid interest to the bank for 1 month without even having the bike . This is not a proper way to do business. hell with you bajaj

Got the second service done at 6080 kms from Trivandrum SVC on the last day of 2013. Everything came out positive. All the work was done in my presence and got the bike within an hour. Total damages sums up to Rs 1700 (Chain lubrication and washing exempt) . Work includes periodic parts replacement. (Engine oil, Air filter element, Oil filter, Fuel filter ) No changes noticed post service as the engine is already set well. Bike is running silky smooth with almost no vibrations post 4k rpm from anywhere. Fully satisfied.

Is the gearing improved after second service? Or is it still the dreaded "thud"?

BTW how come only 1700/-? The oil itself would be around that amount.

Also want a white led/buld for the parking light.

I am getting a buzzing sound from the console area at around 3k to 6k RPM...

Any idea as to what might be the source and how to fix ?

Happy New year mates...

Yesterday finally got some time to put the Fazer wind screen and result, lost 2 of the rubber screw threads (if you know what I mean) inside the headlamp cluster.

I dont want to open the headlamp cluster but get the 2 rubber screw threads instead. Hope it should be available off the shelf in SVCs since its the same with D200 as well .
I was not happy with the existing setup of such small allen key screw divers which gets rounded too soon and the way the thing was attached to the fairing with the help of those rubber screw threads. Does anyone concur with me?

Gearing has increased a lot. Smooth buttery gear changing. Now only I changed the oil to 10w50 from 20w40 because now only they got stock. It's gr8.

they look fine alrite but what about cost.8k for a windscreen is still too much.its a good deal if available for 2k.the price of OEM one.

This is after how many km? I have completed 110 and one servicing. The strange part is some days/rides the gears are smooth but most of the time they are not.

Do you mean the powerpart? They serve no purpose.
Better and even cheaper option is fazer or cbr.

oh yes, I read the powerpart is useless but I was hoping for the pricing of MRA WS to be same as the OEM one.8k is still too much for a visor.I intend to put fazer/CBR/r15 visor and will be getting a new engine replaced finally this weekend.the wind blast for me post sustained 90/100 is not that comfortable.
I believe the CBR one is designed better for higher speeds as the bike will reach those.but people here saying not much diff between CBR or fazer.

Bro, not all MRA screens cost the same. Please contact JVPromoto to find the price of the new ones. The name of the screen is there on the picture description. I wouldn't expect them to cost more than 4-5K coz of their smaller size.
