    Check you leg guards near joint. I had one which had broken at the joint and was causing a rattling noise.

    Are you serious? It sprays on pillion seat is it?
    Yes. Had faced some heat on that front, if you get my drift.

      But I doubt if its from that down, I get a sound more near the headlight. Somebody also mentioned the coolant cap hitting the plastic tank. Any other checks...

          Thanks buddy.. but I am not even close to complete it, have done 370kms now, first service at 1k! (Its just been three days )

          Speed 97 is available in BP bunk on residency road.
          Ride hard.. Ride safe.. Always!

            Hi All,

            I guess i have a problem. It seems the rev limiter is kicking in at 9.5k rpm. It seems the engine suddenly loses power. I hv done 152kmph till date n i guess it was on 5th cog
            when it i felt this sudden loss in power. I revved it in idle too. It wd not go past the 10k mark, and the engine makes a spooling sound and keeps stuck there.

            I think [MENTION=60756]k1ptatik[/MENTION] faced such a problem before. Can you tell me hw this was resolved.

            Wd request others to put in their views as well. My ride has covered around 2k kms and everything else is perfectly normal.

                Check the tank cap. Keep your hand on it while revving and see if still get the sound

                    Ive been getting this weird noise/feeling/sensation like small stones are hitting my bike from below. Happens in 2nd/3rd gear , in the lower RPMs - Gradual acceleration/deceleration Some guys said it might be the chain. Told the service centre about it & even took the guy out for 2-3 rides with him on pillion , but there wasn't any noise then :| . He checked the chain & said it was fine.

                    Spoke to another 390 owner, he said he experienced the same thing. Any1 figured this out?

                      Guys how many of you are facing this. In service station you are not allowed to stand by your bike. Rather you are asked to sit in lobby and wait for it.

                        I have only been to Kirti Nagar svc here in Delhi and have not faced any such issue. In fact the service area and the lobby are at the same place. Although I try not to be a bother to the svc guys no one said anything when I went closer to talk to the mechanic.

                          Here it's the opposite. We are even allowed to fondle with the mechanic's tools. The same customer centric attitude is what makes KTM service stand apart. Though its not the case everywhere.
                          If you worried about falling off the bike, you'd never get on.

                            Even in mumbai in Seewood and Goregaon svc there is no problem, you can be around your bike when they service
