Now that sounds like 2 fan replacements, what was the reason behind 2 replacements?Originally posted by Chandan92 View PostI think it's a direct fit because radiator fan which SVC guys fitted in my D390 had hot air flow downwards earlier fan they changed had air flow towards my legs.

Re: KTM Duke 390 - Ownership Reviews and Experiences
I don't think so. I have personally used 300v and its excellent. Though the guy at ASC said it might get too hot, frankly I never found a difference between the two when it comes to heat. Although there was this time when I had a engine overheat issue due to a faulty radiator fan, but that's a different thing altogether. Thing is, 300V doesn't have the exact recommended grade mentioned in the manual for Duke390. Anyway, I am using 7100 now, since I can't affordOriginally posted by DoubleagentZ View PostIs it worth switching from 7100 to 300v?
I heard that 300v has more vibrations

Bike was stalling due to overheating, stock fan was not working of it's full potential, second fan failed after 4 months because of same earlier reason after that this new fan was installed having air flow downwards and was working quite well.Originally posted by judebrent View PostNow that sounds like 2 fan replacements, what was the reason behind 2 replacements?

Re: KTM Duke 390 - Ownership Reviews and Experiences
Engine braking is negligible in my bike (2015 Duke 390). My Test ride bike had HUGE engine braking though. But, in my Duke it is NIL, wayyyy lesser than even my earlier ZMR which had some engine braking.Originally posted by Serene George Thomas View PostAlso, just to add, slipper clutch feels like heaven. The svc warned that engine braking will not be as intense with slipper clutch. I enjoy riding with that engine braking, tbh.

It is because with slipper clutch you have way less engine breakingOriginally posted by jack_daniels View PostEngine braking is negligible in my bike (2015 Duke 390). Also any recommended Mechanic in Chennai?
I prefer following one mechanic for the bike.
Also planned to do few mods (appearance) and fixing a LED projector, the tools in the bike would be enough (for DIY changing the headlight panel and led) ?Pegasus - 2011* - Hero Honda Karizma ZMR

Re: KTM Duke 390 - Ownership Reviews and Experiences
I fell the chain play becomes loose pretty quickly on D390. Has anyone felt the same? It needs adjustment quite repeatedly, approximately for every 750kms. Is this quite common or something to worry about?Live to Ride!

I think chain should be lubed and tightened every 500kms, correct me if I'm wrong.Originally posted by Skanda View PostI fell the chain play becomes loose pretty quickly on D390.
