, i thoght somewhere in the lines of 150, 175rs

Yeah,cheaper ones are available in jc road and satish is quite sure they are good enough.He's against the pulsar tacho though,which is the only other available separately.

Saturday it is then,ask shreeni and finalize it.

Rode yesterday on air port road and it was relatively traffic free and it felt good to let the bike loose for some distance.The grippy/good quality tarmac also made the road grip apparent because of the riding position and it did test the effectiveness of the disc brake on a couple of occasions.

There was a Suzuki Fiero with a unicorn's console (tacho) at my mech 2 days back.
looks nice, and works well too.

Just thought of sharing.

That's the first time i've heard of it,Nano please get some details regarding fitting it.Like ;

1. Which console/housing the tacho is fitted into.

2. How much juice will it drink from the stock battery.

I asked him (mech), he said its way too easy.
As the guy with the tachoed fiero had come with this own problem to the mech, didn't discuss anything further.

Will let you know when i go there next time.

Besides, it hardly drinks any juice from the battery, as the F2's too come with 2.5amp batteries + Tacho and.
even if it does so .......

WE know what to do.

I know the solution for the amp issue

Since my girl's on TCI and Ruby electricals is nearby,so that's not a prob.

Ask the mech ,which bike's housing is used for the tacho.

Hahhaha Yeah,600 came up pretty fast.But others are missing whatever happened to them,velociraptor, psr etc.

As we were discussing earlier,tacho is a must bro.It helps a lot in tuning and diagnosing problems etc.So it's worth the money,find out from jc road i am sure it will be VFM there.

Very well, I have used 9 yrs a bike with tacho & all of a sudden I am finding it difficult to ride one with out that.

I will check with a place near my home today, we can also go to JC road on Saturday to check on tacho as other days it is not possible for me to go thier since I stay late in the office most of the days

I was more thinking of somehting like shogun has, something like that I have seen in JC Road a simple & round one revving showing up to 14k RPM

2Stroke ones won't work for our 4S girls bro.

though the thought of making them scream and hearing them at 10k+ will be something!!

Ok then.But i am more interested in fitting only the uni tacho.I doubt whether it'd be available separately in the used market either.The thing is,uni tacho and that of the cb stunner is available separately for 600 bucks in the showroom itself.
The stunner has a bigger tacho dial and 14k max dial too.
