I will come over at your place if you need to take a pic from seating position of your handle bar, I have got 5MP camera in my Mobile & that will be more than sufficient I guess to capture the photo

      Lemme know..
Thank's bro ,that would be great.

I have taken some pic's of Gixxer's bike showing handle position from seating position, I think pic's are little messed up due to low light.

Anyhow I am attaching the same, check it out, if this doesn't solve your purpose lemme know I will carry a better camera & take the pic & upload it.

Thanks, what do you think of the riding position and the other mods done? I was never a fan of the fiero's looks,i bought it for it's tech and for its performance. As far as looks are concerned ,i am satisfied with it now.I wanted it to look like a cafe-racer and i think it's somewhat there now.I had gotten a ACE handle bar for it as well and changed to this set up after the rear sets were done. But , things mechanical are concerned,it's still work in progress. The biggest investment on it has been the disc brake kit, for 6.5k.

Keep your girl stock ,because once you start modifying things, well you know what i mean.

Thanks for the pictures guys, its clear enough.
                        It clarified my doubt...

my handlebar is also attached in the same way, seems exactly the same, but just slightly more wider.

I want to put it upside down, like a mustache

I've been having internet issues from last 2 days hence was offline.

                        @ shreeni

good to see you here my friend.
i have a fiero with an rtr 180 bore kit, gives me 38~40 under insane riding conditions.
Giving a lot to a fiero.
Expecting a lot from a fiero.

Nanotech buddy,i am sure you must have seen how a cafe-racer is supposed to look and the handle being upside down is,well, mandatory.

The cafe-racers are modified/stripped/lightened road bikes with rear sets.

Try putting the handle upside down for starters and you will know why cafe-racers are named as such. The handling improvement will make you go corner hunting.

The thing is ,you would have to straighten up the handle at a hydraulic press so that it won't come in contact with the tank on lock to lock turn of the handle.

Think about it,it's a cheap modification which will get you a lot.For example i took the handle to the hydraulic press myself and got it straightened and it took no more than 15 minutes. The labor charge was 20 bucks.

Handling improvement is tooo much to talk about, one needs to feel this and then know how different the ride becomes.

i am definitely sure that turning it upside down will make it much better, besides i don't think that even if it touches the tank under complete tilts it will be a problem for me.
The only time it will be in contact is when i am taking a reverse, removing for the parking space.

My bike is still at the mech , i am waiting desperately to rip it hard.
Its been soo long I've ridden nicely, or more than 2 minutes, max to max 2-3 mins i ride my mech's ZMA-R to satisfy my urge of riding.

i should definitely get my ride by this week for sure.

Regarding rear-sets, do we need to modify the shifter and the brake lever too ?

1 more thing, i recently noticed that i need to change my tyres, (riding a super grippy mech's bike made me realize it) and all are suggesting me to swap to M45s front and rear, but i seem to be more inclined to pilot sporty.
My question is, how bad will pilot sporty be on these roads, with wet conditions too ??

And yes, i want a 4 inch or 110 section tyre on the rear, i happen to lift a M45 and i am 100% sure that even a 4 inch size is much lighter than the stock 90/90 tyre, so will it have any chain/power issues ?
and do we get pilot sporty in 110 or 4 inch size ?

Rati Aginihotri photshopped is just too wonderful , I know & after spending some money on modifying & it dint turn out nice, Although I have round doom I am not interested to put since I want to keep my bike stock as long as I can

I have driven your bike & it sure gives feedback like a super computer from the front end , But for once I am not at all comfortable with that riding position don't know why

M45 or Pilot Sporty is both pretty good tyres, you go for anyone & you will not regret, afaik Pilot sporty comes in 100/90-18 & M45 is 4.00x18

                              • @Nano:- dont go for the M45 at the front, you will have vibes after 6 to 7k of running due to uneven wear, M35 for the front is perfect. I have the Pilot Sporty on my Fiero for the rear now, mind u it is a very heavy tyre when compared to the M45, it is a tubeless tyre, I have put a tube in it.

                                +ves

Excellent grip on Tar roads and in wet.
Awesome stability under hard braking, way better than M45.

                                -ves

Heavy, will cost u some performance.
Bike looses rear with the slightest amount of gravel, not a off roading tyre, the M45 performs better in these conditions.
