It'll fit dude. But be prepared to buy a 15 teeth GB of the RX100, or RX135 from spares shop.In case you don't like the short gearing later.
Why ? RTR 180= 14/46 .That means 3 teeth at rear more than stock,so if you buy a 15 teeth GB later,it'll bring it to stock gearing. If you don't like it that is.

But the issue with that is, whenever we select 4 stroke single cylinder option, it gives crazy readings.
Only 4 stroke twin cylinder setting matches our current rpm mostly.

i don't trust that device at all, it shows idling upto 5342 on so on.
If i revv, it reaches past 12k rpm (standard tacho showing 4k)

Besides, any clutch update gix ??
I am planning to work on the clutch once and for all.
even hydrolize it if needed, as tighter springs with put a lot of pain on the palm.
No bro,the one they use works perfectly. Need i say about ZEN?They are the folks who designed and engineered a V-Twin fiero, like 8 years back?which they still use in rallies and races, which was worked on by Joel joe and Venugopal. Incidentally Venugopal is a machinist who designed and put a Supercharger on his fiero. These folks at ZEN prepare, race and rally bikes on a regular basis and the mech who has his own garage is the one who works on these bikes at ZEN too.Needless to say they have "been there and done that" when it comes to performance modifications. So,yes the mech keeps a digital tachometer which works.

Coming to your clutch issue,i had posted about it a few times and since you didn't reply to them.I assumed you had learn't to live with a slipping clutch. But i had asked them about your options and they said that the RTR clutch plates can't be used on our bikes. So the option left for you,i think is to go for the metal stock ones to take the load of your alternator.

      • These are the pictures of the supercharger which was designed and fabricated by Mr Venugopal.Needless to say such a thing needs lot of technical know how and precise calculations to design and even more grey matter to make it work without blowing up the engine. It was done way back in 2003 or something and the video was on youtube too.He has since then helped some engineering students to do the same on bikes as their academic project work with him as their guide.

        • 1999 Suzuki Fiero

Hi all, I have a Suzuki Fiero Cruft (3yrs free service including oil changes) vehicle since 1999 december.

Used to touch 3 digits with ease, unfortunately had to open the engine due to a broken kicker shaft, now its not the same anymore...

Want to buy a new vehicle in the 150cc bracket.. any suggestions?

          • Here's a post of Joel Joe from another site where he's saying what kinda work ZEN TVS has done.
"supernavi...thanx for making a new thread....i was just waiting to do that!
            anyways!
the v-twin fiero is an inhouse unit thats being built by m/s ZEN TVS which is based in bull temple road...
its a project that they have taken-up to test the capability of the fiero engine...infact they say that the fiero's engine can take-up any kinda engine mod and its so damn compatable that u can even change the dynamics of the entire engine layout...
well right now the crank shaft of the engine and the engine case is ready...
one of the cylinders that is gonna be fitted to the v-twin,which is ported is running on my bike.so once i complete my 185cc conversion, they will fit that cylinder in the v-twin.the crank shaft is truly a work of art and they have put a lot of pain in getting it balance the weight properly. the engine is a suzuki fiero's unit wid 2 suzuki fiero barrels and 2 carbs.they have modified the stock engine case and the 1st barrel sits a little away from the stock position ot a bit forward so that the v-twin can be arranged ,and the other barrel sits on the self starter case and the carbs are the stock mikuni bs26 and the airfilter for the 1st barrel is from under the tank and the other barrel gets thge air from the regular position.
the chassis will be the fiero f2's wid sone mods on the cradle to accomodate the bigger engine.the engine will displace 295cc and will make 27hp at the crank...they have plans to boost the power to even 30hp, but they need to try the reliability of the crank and see if it can take the power, afterwhich they will port and use bigger carbs and k&n filter.
will post the pics soon as the engine is now at the lathe...e."

I had read about this ,and was wondering who it was at that time....Mr.venugopal also used to post regularly on the ZMA upgrades in Team Bhp, esp on compression ,and power enhancement ,with specific details.
I did learn a lot by reading his posts....
If you happen to meet him , tell him he has an ardent fan in Chennai who had learnt a lot going through some of his posts.

Haven't met him personally yet,but Mr Murthy speaks highly of him.I'll try and learn whether he still helps in such works/modifications.Maybe it'd help other ZMA owners in case they need any information.

Try to re-buld the fiero itself,it can be made to a 180 with the RTR180 bore-kit.

From urvashi signal when u go straight towards siddaiah road, probably the 6th cross I believe (take a left), you will find huge JCB's in front of his work shop. No this one used the ZMA piston , the CBZ one was recent.

Yeah i had heard that he works on JCB machines. Thanks,i'll meet him sometime,to pick his brains. Ok,if it was ZMA piston, then the cc was 195.
By the way, since the carb upgrade, bike feels very free revving and refined since the last time you tried it out.

All thanks to Gixxer, for a correct and timely advise.

Yes Karizma R, if that is the one without the full fairing, is looking like the best bike in the market. Keeping my eyes and ears open for a good piece. What are the things to look out for while buying a pre worshiped Karizma? What is the going rate for a used one?

But there was a gap between the rod and the area surrounding it. Could not understand whether a nut goes there or something else. There were no windings there. There was a Pulsar standing close by and hopped over to take a look as all the bikes have similar setup. I noticed there is a rubber washer that fits in there. Its got a rubber cap too and fits in pretty tight. Have no clue how it could have come out on my bike.
Take a look at the two pictures attached. I have circled the area of attention.

If you are buying a used ZMA, I would advise you to do away with your Fiero.
On the other hand, I hear ZMA spares are very expensive&also almost always out of stock. psr should be able to guide on this.

In Chennai spares are available and cheap..HH themselves have reduced the price..Timing chain adjuster used to be 1500/- now 420/- Disc pads 2200/- now 420/- available outside by same manufacturer " ASK " for 110/-..like this most spares have come down to almost a third of their price....Bore is approx., 1750/- and piston with rings, pin, lock etc., approx., 600/-
