You won't be able to use the 13/44 set up,so if you decide on 13/44,then you'd have to first buy the 14 teeth RTR sprocket from outside and only then you will be able to use it.
y cant i use the 13/44 setup?? its a direct fit na?? and if at all i get a 14GB from outside it wont be TVS manufactured..

It will be a direct fit.But the ratio will be 3.3846 with the 13/44.Taht would make your bike feel like it has 3 first gears or like there are only 2 gears in the gear box 1and 2.

The 4th gear will feel like a mix of 2nd and 3d gear and first gear will be popping wheelies!!

ya even i had calculated the ratios and rtr160 would not be a welcome. so i was thinking of goin for the 180s... but the 3rd gear ratio is very long in the case of F2. its like u can easily manage 80kmph in 3rd gear...

Go ahead and try it out.The RTR180 one then.I've tried all these gear ratio things on my bike, cousin's RX135 and friend's pulsar, cbz etc.

          • dude the difference between the final ratios of f2 and rtr180 is 0.2. so how can it make a huge difference in gearing?? and as i said, the 3rd gear of F2 is long, goes easily upto 80kmph(done it many times). so in 180s setup, it mite not go till 80, but may atleast go upto 70-75kmph? Now f2s 1st and 2nd gears r short, no doubt, but with new setup(RTR180), it would give me that extra torque. hence no Overrevving the engine....

                It's a classic
                classic fiero =13/39

                now she's on 14/39

Now with the RTR180 set-up you will be going up 3 teeth at the rear.So that will be like 13/43 or 12/40.Does that answer it?

If there r more disadvantages i will go for the F2 setup only...

                        • With the 14/46 set up your girl will feel like she's on steroids,if you put 13/44 then your girl will feel like she's on HGH(human growth hormone)and is trained(injected) by chinese olympic team.

                              • i am not interested in topspeed any more... i want in gear acceleration and torque.... i very rarely go upto 100kmph... it runs out of breath above 90...
i ride the bike at 70-75kmph, but never cross 80kmph...
