Sticker shops will have those. You tell them your design, they'll do it for you.

Hi sumanth

Yesterday I saw a guy riding black gixxy, chains are fully covered with chain guard. Im able to see more mods in gixxer. But unfortunately I'm not able to catch him.

I don't have any idea abt horns but some one mentioned in this forum that Toyota fortuner stock horn is working great. Do check the voltage.

Did anyone here had ridden a Pulsar 200NS? How is the handling of the Gixxer compared to the P200NS?

I've been using hella full tone horns. Louder than most horns. Really good if you travel on highways. In towns you might scare a few pedestrians [emoji1] . Sounds kinda like innova horn, louder though.

Got a call last day from Dwaraka Suzuki, Gurgaon that they are offering free bike wash, chain clean and tuning for my Gixxer today.

Reported paint-peeling and disc rusting issue as well.

Hoping to get them addressed.

sumanthdev123,

I asked the showroom about the warranty being void if I were to install 60w headlamps. They said nope. So I don't think horns would void the warranty. In case I needed a warranty claim, I would remove everything and revert back to stock [emoji1] .

The crash guard looks pretty generic like the ones on honda unicorn. I've seen many people mentioning their guards hitting the mudguard. I did 2 emergency stops so far and checked the mudguard for marks. Nope, nothing.

About the horns, if you were to fix a single horn it would be plug and play. But twin horns need a small matchbox sized relay. Nothing major !

Cheers !

I am not an expert in this; but won't these 140W+ horns put lot of load on the battery?
Did you check with mechanic or electrician on this, based on your batter AH rating?

I think gixxer has a 3Ah battery.
So that's 12v * 3Ah = 36 Watt hours.

If a 144 Watts horn works for 1 hour, it will consume 144 Wh.

So for 1 min, 2.4 Wh
1 second, 0.04 Wh.

So unless the horn is operated for 15 mins continuously, no issues.

Disclaimer: I don't guarantee this calculation is 100% correct.

Good calculation bro but did u disturbed any electrical wire like cutting & joining. Bcoz I did in my old bike installed roots air horn dual with relay & the mechanic cut the wire joined the piece of wire from horn.

You could try pulsar or apache dual horns bro. I don't think relay is required for that. For the above mentioned horns, the stock wires can be connected to the relay and additional wires can be used to connect the horns. This way, you can revert to stock since no wires will be cut.
