Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
It is a moot in your opinion. Why can't LEDs be indicators? Each one aesthetically done on either side and operating with corresponding direction would be innovative.Originally posted by RoyalIndian View PostI was referring towards Indicators not flashy LEDs. Installing LEDs on grabrails is moot
On the other hand, LED board would look like the ones on drab police bikes; freakishly odd bikes run by beat officers. LOL. and why not add a siren too to the bike and run it happily? :P duh.Last edited by srinath2494; 11-21-2015, 10:06 PM.

You integrate the Blinkers into the taillights using a custom PCB and RGB LEDs with a controller if required. (Google 'taillights with integrated blinkers') Its an old technique to remove teh rear fender and clean up the tail. There are no aftermarket kits so you will have to construct one. However I think there is one for the R15 which could fit for the Gixxer. Watch teh video below to get an idea...
Also where do you plan to install LEDs on/in a Grab rail? Also how do you plan to route the wires if at all you decide to install LEDs on/in the grab rail?

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
routing the wire will not be a problem. It need not be on the bottom part of the grab rails too and so we can have the grab rails functional still. The tail section's bottom part is visible and in my idea it needs some small holes being bored onto it to get the leads of the wire out to the LEDs. The RGB boards will make the bike look drab man. Seriously it will look like a beat officer's bike. Further it reduces the scope of having a funky shape for the indicators.Originally posted by RoyalIndian View PostYou dint get my point...

This integration into R15's rear lamps is good but on road I doubt it's visibility at first glance. At first glance many commuters coming at the back might not comprehend to it as indicator, especially when the indicator is on and one is trying to brake. But this set up looks neat without any extra addition.
Gixxer's rear lamps also have similar shape.
