    Everything except the starter is working.update..the starter has been fixed..two wires had come loose from the clutch switchswitch..everything's back to normal.

      Thanks, even I strongly feel so, but in case of cars this is OK, since the recommended oil level is between min and max, this got me confused and hence posted to gurus here.
      My other ride is Yamaha RX, no way to tell what levels it is running on, unless I use a dip-stick.

            Performed really well..it was never out of breath..we where constantly cruising at 75-80 still no problem..the gixxers engine is a workhorse ..rode for 1hr20mims straight still no signs of lack of breath from the engine.

              My gixxer is having chain sound and when i took it to service centre they said that the chain sprocket has to be changed. My bike has run 8000km. Is this too early to change the sprocket.

                  i have changed it mine at 22000kms. try visiting another svc.

                    I have seen one gentleman who approached the svc with the same problem
                    And told them to replace the chain and sprocket
                    When svc told him just chain lubing will fix this the guys went to say he knows much more than them as he is riding bikes for two decades and he has done the same "grease" treatment with it
                    The svc didn't took long to replace it
                    At the same time i was waiting at the lounge for my bikes turn and i had some problems like kat kat in lower speeds two
                    Told them
                    They lubed the chain and adjusted the chain slack
                    Its been running problem free ever since

                      Today i visited the service centre and they tightened and lubed my chain .The sound is not present now but i do get a sqeeking sound when i stop.

                        Suzuki Gixxer 155 Engine Oil Filter Help need

                        Hi Guys , need small help ,can I use same suzuki GN 125 Engine Oil Filter for Suzuki Gixxer 155 also
                        Because my town , could not find any stock Gixxer 155 Engine Oil Filter at a reasonable price , company provided Filter too much expansive ( RS 560 ).
                        Do u guys have any idea about good alternative Suzuki Gixxer 155 Engine Oil Filter ?

                            Guys when i looked into the gixxer's owners manual i saw a picture with worn chain sprocket. And when i compared the worn chain sprocket picture to my gixxer ,my gixxers sprocket doesnt look worn and its like new but the service centre guys said i need to replace it. What should i do?

                              Any signs of rust on the chain? 8k km is too early for chain and sprocket change..

                              560rps for oil filter? You could always use rtr 160 filter its a direct fit..I just bought a stock gixxer 155 oil filter for 42rps.

                                560rps for oil filter? You could always use rtr 160 filter its a direct fit..I just a stock gixxer 155 oil filter for 42rps.
