Found this pic on Facebook group! Seems like the rear tyre hugger of the FZ v2 is a perfect math for the Gixxer.

Suzuki has now launched duel tone naked gixxer , literally its actually a jigsaw puzzle (mixing colour panel of existing bike ) . LOL

I think Suzuki should come up with a permanent solution for this problem instead of leaving it to the customers....

Yeah its very useful but the color should be in black. Either you roll some transparent cello tapes on the toe shifter to save ur shoe. It really works. I did it.

I have used cello tape & some black sponge to the lower part of shifter so it now don't spoil my costly puma Rs 3500 shoes .

I hear a kind of clicking noise after riding hard for long. My old bike made a similar noise as well, so I wasn't bothered. Can you describe the noise?

Yes Im also facing exact problem. Even Im facing such a bad noise when the engine is cool. Thats why I showed my Gixxer to service center. They adjusted valve setting or it is also called as tappet setting. But that didnt solve the problem. Instead of solving the problem, that lead to another problem. Now whenever I start my gixxer in the morning, it makes really very bad noise like kat kat kat at the initial start up. Im gonna show this problem during my second service.
So my advice would be, if the clicking noise is only when the engine is hot, then let it be. That is a normal noise. Don't let service center guys adjust the tappet or valve settings.

Maybe it is because the engine oil loses it's viscosity at that temperature. Maybe using a w50 oil may solve it.
