I've had experiences with 2 SVCs, Banashankari and BTM. Regarding Banashankari, avoid the place, the manager is a complete cheat, and always tries to milk money somewhere or the other.
I would recommend BTM, always had a nice experience there, they are friendly an actually help you out. Just talk to the manager there, Santosh, or Jayesh, and they get it done for you in case you do have any issues.

Could you just explain this line? I didn't really get you O.o

Regarding the bike washed so good, it might be a placebo effect, since you've seen your bike so long gunked up, seeing her issues all sorted and the bike washed up, makes you feel like's a brand new one. They just use shampoo, pretty much it.
I wash and clean my bike regularly, so thats why I was surprised. As the next reply states, they use diesel or something(no clue how that works), but ill try out shampoo too and see, i use plain water.

But, I hope you have invested in the right set of gears, like helmet, gloves and jacket.
I have TGB street jacket and gloves, and yeah a helmet too Cant use any other gear in cities..
    Cheers!

    Thanks for the help

KTM Marathalli(Khivraj) is probably the worst service center in Bangalore. They aren't organized and they don't handle bikes the way they're supposed to. Bad 1st service experience for me too. I don't recommend this place to anyone.

KTM BTM (Amba Bajaj) is good but they literally take forever. They have too many bikes to service every day. So if time is a constraint, stay away.

KTM Banashankari (Kalyani) did a decent job when I left my bike for 2nd Service.

KTM Banashankari (Auto-Service) did a really good job when I left my bike there for 3rd Service. They are very polite and quick at servicing. They probably charged the least too.

KTM Bannerghatta Road is where a friend of mine bought his RC390 and he gave it there for first service and they did a good job too.

Is this fine? Or is it loose?

Will be going for a 400kms one day trip. 120kms on the odo. Is it wise to get the 1st servicing done before that?

This is helpful. Can anyone do this for svc's in Mumbai??

Which part are you specifically asking about. But regardless without actually examining it in the flesh nobody can give you an opinion. If you are concerned take some threadlock and the appropriate tools to tighten up any suspect loose nuts, bolts and.screws
If you can't take it to your svc and get it checked as you really don't want the gear shift arm to fall off whilst riding ;-)

stop fretting over non-issues man. it's set up optimally from the factory. you are free to adjust the position of the gear lever as you please.
if you are 'concerned' about those two rubber parts touching, then that's how its supposed to be.. nothing to worry.

No am not worried about rubber parts touching. I am actually not finding time to take it to svc due to work commitments. Just that the bolt looks pretty loose and I am not used to the 1st gear thud I hear while slotting to the first gear. I know am fretting about non issues.

Was caught in heavy traffic. Very slow traffic. Fan was continuously ON for 50 minutes.
Though bike was running fine and temperature was @normal 8 bars for all the time, point to worry is that earlier fan was off after 5-7 minutes. Then again after 2-3 minutes it would start and then stop.
It was not continuously ON earlier even in traffic.

Anyone who had replaced fan earlier, can you please comment.

Just got the first service done. Odo was at 400 kms.
                              Total cost: ₹1619/-
They didn't wash the bike because their facility was closed. Had to get it done from outside..
There is oil all over the rear wheel due to chain lubing.. Do I have to use petrol/rockel to clean that?

There are five bolts in the pic. Which one r u talking about? Also there is a toolkit with the bike. So instead of wasting time asking vague questions get it out and check the bolts for tightness yourself as its difficult for us mere mortals to tell if there is a bolt loose just by looking at a pic (unless it's hanging off). If there is a bolt loose and you don't have time to take it to the svc it's still not going to magically tighten itself on its own.
P.S wouldn't hurt to learn some basic bike maintenance skills
