Sounds like definitely something stuck in the brake pads. Tell them to completely remove the pads and check for any small pebbles which might have got in there. Also check for disc alignment if not for the sound then at least for peace of mind. Hope you get it solved soon. [emoji4]

Just saw a video in YouTube about a guy took Pulsar RS200 from Pune to Bangalore and return back riding for 1600 kms in just below 22 hrs,So this shows capacity of bike and Engine and FI technology keep machine cool and calm.
Also Saw International video where Pulsar is No.1 brand in many countries worldwide.
IF I listen to my heart it would definitely say the pulsar rs 200.
I would definitely listen to my heart.

Well, I never compared the 2 bikes in the first place! I just Suggested the Apache; I didn't say the Apache is better than the RS200 when compared! Did you see me make a comparison between the 2? Anyways, buy what you like and ride safe & be happy. Good luck

Will do the same. Also, want to ask one thing that whenever I am downshifting the gears and applying the brakes to lower the speed there are noticeable vibrations on footpegs. At 165 Kgs, with speeds about 100+ kph, you are really making yourself a mini missile, which is about to exert 12000 pounds of pressure if hit on a wall or collided on another vehicle. This is not to scare you but just to let you know that heavy bikes with more power isn't always easy to handle. A level of maturity is necessary which as someone here stated very nicely "Maturity comes with Age", this is true. For example, when a P220 passes so quickly ahead of you, how many resist the temptation to smoke that guy?. Even with riding gear, speeds beyond 120 kph, on a normal road will still be fatal. Riding gears could only save you from scratches, cuts and can reduce some impacts, though it is recommended for riders who ride at high speed always. Don't understand why people want to always going for top speed and ...
Remember, a 75% of your top speed is good for your bike. 90-110 kph is the best for a motorbike riding in India. Bear in mind, even an Alto can do faster than our Pulsars, but that doesn't mean we are a loser.

There is noticeable vibration around 4-5K RPM in most RS 200 bikes. The newer batches seem to not have much vibes. This is something you'll have to live with. Although I do recommend tightening all the fairing screws including the visor. Also check for any loose part near the pegs, my friend had a similar problem. Actually if we all follow city speed limits mostly 30-55 kph, we can avoid many accidents and a Helmet with gloves are more than enough. Plus even on highway, having a performance bike and a top quality riding gears doesn't mean we have to top out always. At day time with good visibility and on good tarmac, you can do 110 kph if possible. High wind blast will quickly do a gimmick which can be fatal. At mediocre roads and bald roads, 80-90 kph is best. At dawn or dusk, you have to drop below 80 kph which is very risky for riders ALWAYS.Originally posted by Minisoda View PostIs the rider safe?

At night, it's best to avoid riding longer except you have those extra projectors or night riding experience. I don't ride beyond 70 kph at unknown roads at night.
