Took my bike to SVC for topping up coolant as the level has gone below min mark... Svc guy tried to convince that there is nothing to worry even if if the coolant level is less than min mark as 1 litre of coolant will be there in radiator.. But I kept on insisting topping up coolant.. finally he said.. sir coolant is out of stock come back on monday... luckily another svc guy came back with coolant... thy charged me 50 rs without bill... he informed... with bill will comes around 70 rs.. regarding Radiator fan: He took my bike for a drive and said Bike is so smooth and not getting over heated so the fan is not kicking in... He wants me leave the bike in svc if I wants him to check further... I didn't agree as only 100 km left for 1st service.... will let u all know once my first service is done...

yes ABS does work on speeds 10kmph and above , that thud sound has been acknowledged by Bajaj as an issue and they have stated that a small fix is on the way.
i have read this very info here itself in some thread and this THUD sound is being common problem reported by many other RS owners.

How do you know the ABS is working? Does the ABS light blink? It is almost impossible for ABS to work at such low speeds. ABS comes into picture only when the sensors sense a tyre skidding,, which is highly unlikely at 5 kmph.

Hii..Rachit. ...well let me tell u how ABS works....there is a ring on disc with sensor which sense when wheel locks it stop breaking at a certain speed but this happens in a 1/100 of second ... ..when I'm breaking hard at speed of 5 kmph wheel is not locking up instead it's giving me jerk....which means it's not locking the wheel..

Official Findings by Bajaj on the recent alloy breakage incident.

Also the fb profile of the user who raised the claim is nowhere to be found now.

I am not surprised by the report. It was already known that Bajaj isn't going to take it on them.

The impact from left side is crap from bajaj, the fairing from left is intact and the circular sidewall is still intact.

                    Shame on bajaj.

Please see : I own a bajaj 220 so i am not starting a brand war nor badmouthing it.

But this research from bajaj is utter shit.

                    Cheers,
                    Sanjay

Yes sanjay... Most of us knew Bajaj is baffling something.. Those who wants to check its top speed please ride with full safety gear... That's all we can do for now

My sincere goodluck to all the RS 200. Ride with care.

Not to discourage anyone, but looking at Bajaj's statement, there won't be any recall of the bikes.

                        Cheers,

                              Plain answer NO.

You need to change lot of things and even if you change things results won't be 100% successful.

Now the question which annoys is why did you buy NON-ABS and want to add ABS explicitly when ABS model was available. You could have brought the ABS one.

                              Cheers,
                              Sanjay
