    Good day,
I'm from Brazil, my name is Sandro, passionate about bikes as well as you ...

looking on google the launch of "Pulsar 400 SS" ended up finding this forum and the "http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/25048-pulsar-350-375-spy-pics-xbhp-news -94.html "on the similarity of" Honda CBX 250 K1 "

Yes, the similarities are giants, but esclarendo doubt of all interested friends ...

The "Honda CBX 250" is a motorcycle 250cc Naked as my profile picture and "Cowling K1" was a project developed in 2007 by a company here from Brazil, here in Brazil small keeled bikes only arrived in 2009, so they sought alternatives.

In Brazil there are many taxes, which makes it impossible companies work, and harder still imports, now with the government "Dilma Roussef - PT" is going diapers and the biggest robberies in history.

Bikes like sports "Ninja 300" and the newly launched here "Yamaha R3" come here costing on average "U$ 7,000.00" (seven thousand US dollars), about "R$ 21,000.00" (twenty one thousand reais) with a base salary of "R$ 800.00" (eight hundred reais) average of U$ 228.00 (two hundred twenty-eight US dollars) ...

Hi Guys. I gave my Rs for first service yesterday. Talked with the service manager regarding Changing to Motul Oil. But he insisted me to stay with Bajaj oil if not my warrany will be Void. It is also mentioned in the Manual. So i asked him use to Bajaj oil itself .

Talked to two different SVC guys ( separately ) regarding Alloy wheel and handlebar issues. They said there are no issues so far in chennai. Bajaj is closely monitoring the issue and asked them to inform them immediately if they get any bike with similar issues.
Right now they are servicing an RS that met with the accident. I couldnt see the bike clearly. But they said rider had hit a dog at high speed. One side fairing is highly damaged. Alloy and Handlebar are intact.

Regarding service: I gave the bike for service yesterday morning 10: 30 AM. and SVC asked me collect at 4:30 PM. I went there at 4 and they didnt touch the bike. Mechanic said he is still working on the bike that met with accident. They made me wait for around 1 and half hours.

While giving service svc guy asked me what are the issues i have with the bike.i said nothing. He asked me repeatedly so i said Thud sound at potholes and vibration at 3.9 -5k.
He said "thud sound is normal sir. Bajaj know this" . "Vibration is normal in all faired bike sir"
I am wondering how Bajaj SVC guys all over india saying the exact words.

          Bike after Service:
          1. I could feel bike has become bit smoother.
          2. Vibration at 3.9K - 5K has come down a bit.
          3. Still yesterday morning finding neutral is a tedious task for me. But now i can do it in single flick. Oil change has anything to do with this?
          4. Sound seems to be changed. I could hear a hissing noise while running at low speed. Anyone faced this?

            1. Don't jump to Motul so soon. And not all bikes respond well, mine now 50km (including today) since the oil change after 4500KMs, nothing changed. But by bike was already fine with stock, no complaints.
            2. The harshness can come down after each service.
            3. Second service is very long, you can do that in 3-4K KMs if you wish
            4. Where did you service in chennai?.
            5. Thud sound is not normal but it can be fixed. I had sometime back
            6. False neutral is still existing in Bajaj bikes but getting better from NS to RS. Sometimes oil can help smoother gear shifts. But only sometimes, not always. So don't jump to Motul unless you feel your bike is very harsh..

Sure. I will stay with bajaj oil.. I serviced at Jai Bajaj Tambaram. Did they fix your suspension to get rid of that thud sound. Or it just faded away?
Where do you service your bike in chennai.. How is your bike responding now.. Can you compare with other faired bike in this 200 segment and let us know..

I was pretty much satisfied with my bike. But a few days back, I went for a small ride with my friend. He had a CBR 250R repsol edition. On our way back we switched our bikes and I was so amused with how smooth gear shifts and clutch was of that bike. Since that day, I can never see my bike the same way I used to see it before... 😔

then I should stay away from cbr 250..
How about the stability at high speeds??

Before RS: Riding in 100+ km/hr was fun
After RS: Riding itself is fun

I got my bikes 1st service done at Sai service in Borivali and the total cost came to 570 rupees that included oil change, chain lube, wash and coolant top up.

Costed me around 600 including engine oil and chain lubrication. Please ask them what are their views in reducing hard gears and share with us later.

yeah even i drove my friends yamaha fazer (military green 1) it was so smooth the gear shifts and so distinctive . Also the bike felt like a toy when compared to my R.S as it was so light.

We just have to accept the fact that no matter how much bigger bikes Bajaj produces, there are always going to be some quality issues. At that day I rode a RE classic 350 too, it was not as smooth as the CBR but still a lot better than the RS.
