Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
Try to remove when the engine is hot . ButOriginally posted by deep007 View PostGuys i am not able to open up the remaining spark plugs because they are very tight.
Please be double cautious , as spark plugs tend to become really hot to burn your fingers.

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
Why would anyone go for it when they can buy a duke 390 with some extra cash. The difference between 1.6 to 2.1 isn't much when you compare the price difference of as200 and duke 200.Originally posted by Hunterkol View PostI just received a call from Bajaj showroom about the Pulsar400 😎 that the bike is coming soon.

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
From last few days, burning smell is coming from the right side of the bike after riding few kilometers. Since then I am checking both engine oil and coolant level regularly but no drop in both fluids. Also checked exhaust for any kind of smoke but it is also normal. What could be the reason???? Did anyone faced this issue or its normal?? Bike is 10months old and 5217km on odo. Done with 3rd service on 10th Aug.

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
I thought i was the only one getting it. I am at 5800 and this smell is like burning wire, you cam smell it strong after a revving ride. There is no leaks, oil level is perfect, no oil spray on engine. Just can't figure it out.Originally posted by Pulsaroid View PostFrom last few days, burning smell is coming from the right side of the bike after riding few kilometers. Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
Yes. Same thing happening to me. Did you visited ASC for this issue? ASC near my place is useless, so I got my services done at ASC in another city from which I felt better service and good mechanics. Due to busy schedule have to wait for few weeks. From how much kms you're getting this smell??Originally posted by Hunterkol View PostI thought i was the only one getting it. you need to apply more torque, use another wrench or closed end spanner and try using it for leverage.Originally posted by deep007 View PostGuys i am not able to open up the remaining spark plugs because they are very tight.
check this video
also find this image for spark plug tuning
is this engine oil burning smell? only burning smell i had with bikes is when i revv them hard. bike has Bajaj Engine oil so i guess it is normal for my bike.Originally posted by Pulsaroid View PostFrom last few days, burning smell is coming from the right side of the bike after riding few kilometers. Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
While changing oil filter, service guy dropped oil on the exhaust part below it. So the smell might be of the oil burning because of that. Will pressure wash the bike and inspect for the same.Originally posted by lnagr View Post

The smell is gone, had the bike pressure washed.Originally posted by Pulsaroid View PostWhile changing oil filter, service guy dropped oil on the exhaust part below it. So the smell might be of the oil burning because of that. Will pressure wash the bike and inspect for the same.
I am noticing something, the RPM is not stagnant, it is fluctuating with temperature, pressure on electricals, radiator fan. The vibrantions are back and I am feeling the handling wobbly again. I have opened the fuel on the carb. but I am unable to get the last setting back. These guys lowered my low beams and had the air filters cleaned, they did not attach the housing properly which has caused fogging in the headlights. The sound of the engine was more lean, it now sounds more clanky and not smooth. The bike seems to loose power on cruising at 80 to 90 or above. No consistency or whatsoever. Any suggestions?

From which service centre you did received the call? Can you name it?Originally posted by Hunterkol View PostI just received a call from Bajaj showroom about the Pulsar400 😎 that the bike is coming soon.
People will surely go for it as Bajaj might provide a bit of less power than KTM but that will be enough for Indian roads, and I believe the CS400 comfort and pillion seating position going to be much better than Duke. On top of these look and feel will definitely be premium with addition of ABS.Originally posted by vijacdblz View PostWhy would anyone go for it when they can buy a duke 390 with some extra cash. Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
Thats ridiculous. Its barely been a year and half the bike was launched. My bike is 8 months old and I intended to keep it for atleast 4 years. Why would they discontinue the bike. Should we be worried about the scarcity of spares in near future?Originally posted by marmiteminer View PostAS200 production is stopped as of now
