regarding the USD, I have seen KTM twins doing off roading and I have personally owned a Duke 390 and the suspension is not that stiff. But due to the front end weight of RS it might make the front little hard. But I mostly ride on highway and I think I can live with that.

But on a AS the KTM USD will be fun, owners can make there oen super moto200.

There are lots of stuff that I need to measure first as I think it won't be a direct fit.

1) ball bearings fit

2) length of the steering column

Etc....
I too felt RS suspension kind of stiff. But didn't feel much diff between a duke and NS suspension. Not too sure about RS suspension with only a TD.I never take the idea of off-road riding. Because I know I will either end up breaking my spine, tailbone or some other key parts . I have adventure bikes like those suzuki g storm 250 in mind . Someday hope it might come true. And that day will try all off-road rids....!!!

Loving the bike as of now.. Even I faced this problem of the brake lever being placed too high because of which my foot used to ache even in city riding. Went to bajaj service centre and they said it can't be lowered. But they gave me a tip i found useful. They said that earlier version bikes such as Pulsar 180 and 220 are designed such that the rider's position is a bit slant when riding the bike. However, on an AS200, I'll need to change my riding position a bit and try sitting straight. Very straight. That way my legs won't ache. I tried doing that and yeah have been experiencing much more comfort when riding the bike. Both bikes are different in their design and the rider's position has to vary accordingly.
Congrats bro. Good choice. Ride at sane speeds. The brake lever will soon release it's tension and become a bit easy with use. But use 70/30 braking always.

Agreed, but still I don't kind of feel 'that' comfortable with my MRF zapper tires on wet even after tires getting hot. Nor did many NS owners too. But on dry, the grip is amazing. On wet, I believe it's manageable. I don't take risk, always reduce the speed well below on rain or wet conditions. I could still drive ~80-105 kph easily on wet, but only on straight roads. On typical a 140 deg curve, I'll drop below 50 kph while on dry I'll daringly take at 80-90 kph easily.

This is especially because of the tire feedback that is setting me back.

The front suspension is under lot of stress because of the weight and I am still trying to find a perfect siting position, as under bad roads its unbearable. And I hope you get your dream motorcycle soon.

MRF only advantage is they are cheap not by cost but the mileage we get out of it for the price we pay and they are less prone to puncture(except the radials on FZ).

Anybody have tried any other brand tires on there AS200?

I guess almost Bajaj stopped AS200 with MRF. Only it's xplod566 how has got MRF as stock. Don't remember others. Also only few have clocked >10K I guess. MRF is pretty decent compared to Euro.

For suspension, did you try the mono adjustment?.

No you shouldn't use it... FS oil will over lubricate the engine and will result in Engine Glazing.

FS oil should be used only after engine has worn out properly. That will take around some 5000Kms with Mineral Oil

Edit 1 : Mineral oil has more friction and will wear the engine properly. Try not to switch to Semi synthetic or Full synthetic before 5000Kms.

You can use motul 5100 or any other semi synthetic for that matter. You can switch to semi from mineral confidently after the first service.
