Heard CEAT tires are best for all seasons. MRF Tires lack in wet road grip and skids are common but excellent for dry road.

So anyone used CEAT Tires on gixxer of the same stock tires dimensions?

CEAT tyres are worst for anything except the great warranty.

But 140/70 is available and fits easily.

                        Pros-
                        1. Good grip at a good price.
                        2. Fits easily with no alterations
                        3. Increased ground clearance
                        4. More sidewall - better cushioning and protection to rims
                        5. No hit to mileage and acceleration

                        Cons-
                        1. Ride height increases a little
                        2. Slight speedo and odo error

For the front tyre, the stock tyre is best.

Are you sure that there is speedo error?
Changing the front tyre size brings speedo error right?

By using a bigger dia tyre, you have made the gearing minutely taller, so at a particular RPM, if you are seeing more speed, then that is not speedo error.

Yes the actual speed is different from what the speedo shows thanks to the different tyre profile.

You know even me too fed up with the Gixxers engine performance. Hard gear shifts & tight clutch leading to pain in my wrist and legs badly after a drive in the city traffic. Suzuki svc centers in hyd sucks visited many svc to rectify issues but none of them got rectified the rear brake noise is irritating me a lot. Engine became rough and sluggish don't know the reason it might be peculiar with my bike. Driving the bike at low speeds in the city traffic has became very irritating as the engine feels rough & heavy to revv. Sent many complaints to suzuki india but no use the svc mechanics are incapable of solving even the minute niggles. No doubt Gixxer is the superb 155cc bike in the entire segment but the worst after sales servicing is what spoiling the image of the bike. Planning to sell the bike in the feature as of now iam saving money for the other bike. Over all iam not satisfied with the Gixxer except for the looks & superb digiconsole which it is carrying even the road grip is awesome but the engine performance is not constant at all the times it varies drastically. My bike is 26 K Kms old one all the services are completed as per the schedule. I do change the oil on my own at every 2.5 k Kms mark. I own a 2015 naked one not SF. SUZUKIS AFTER SALES SUCKS FOR SURE I think bajaj service is a bit better than this shit.

The bike inherently has a Speedo error of ~10%

I have clocked 10,000 kms, no issue. Some of my other buddies have clocked 20-30,000 kms and their bike feels just as smooth as mine.

If your clutch is tight then get teh cable tension adjusted. Hard gear shifts is a known issue with all GSX 150 bikes. You can compensate for it by wearing harder shoes (like boots) and changing the shift lever position downwards so that you dont have to Dorsiflex too much for upshifting.

I am assuming you have drum brakes in the rear. In that case go to teh SVC tell them to open the drum and service the Brake shoes properly, replace if necessary. Check the drum wall as well for irregularities. In case of Disc brakes, check the alignment of the wheel and make sure the rotor isnt bent.

If your engine became rough and sluggish then you must have abused it or something is off. Could be a fueling issue mostly. Have some patience and get it checked at a SVC. Be stern with them when you address the issue. Ask to talk with teh supervisor or manager.

If teh SVC mechanics are incapable of doing anything then take your bike to a local mechanic. (Might void teh warranty so be careful)
