What I have heard from 2015 gixxer owners is the same what you have mentioned. The reason for that might be because 2015 was the first production batch these issues might have arose.But the 2016 & 2017 batch gixxers dont face such issues.I have even seen a youtuber who owns same 2015 manufactured gixxer giving the same review.Originally posted by truelypulsarian View Post

Tried all the things u mentioned a long back still not at all satisfied with my Gixxer because the main thing is the engine it's very sluggish and heavy I don't have plans of either changing the engine parts. In the coming months iam gonna sell this bike and I will go for other alternative. If u people are not facing any issues like me then u r very lucky ones to enjoy the Gixxer to the core. U know I had done the CO setting many times at the svc but no use. Finally what I made in my mind is use this bike for a couple of months or even more without bothering myself about its issues & after saving I will go for other alternative for Gixxer. I never abused the engine I change the oil at every 2-2.5K KMS & I frequently clean the chain and lube it with motul or other brand chain sprays. Still the chain is in good condition even at 26K KMS. I have clocked 10,000 kms, no issue. Some of my other buddies have clocked 20-30,000 kms and their bike feels just as smooth as mine.
If your clutch is tight then get teh cable tension adjusted. Hard gear shifts is a known issue with all GSX 150 bikes. You can compensate for it by wearing harder shoes (like boots) and changing the shift lever position downwards so that you dont have to Dorsiflex too much for upshifting.
I am assuming you have drum brakes in the rear. In that case go to teh SVC tell them to open the drum and service the Brake shoes properly, replace if necessary. Check the drum wall as well for irregularities. In case of Disc brakes, check the alignment of the wheel and make sure the rotor isnt bent.
If your engine became rough and sluggish then you must have abused it or something is off. Could be a fueling issue mostly. Have some patience and get it checked at a SVC. Be stern with them when you address the issue. Ask to talk with teh supervisor or manager.
If teh SVC mechanics are incapable of doing anything then take your bike to a local mechanic. (Might void teh warranty so be careful)Last edited by truelypulsarian; 05-05-2017, 11:20 AM.PULSAR 180 DTSI- 2007

Just because your problem is not getting rectified does not mean SVCs in Hyd are worst. Keep that judgement to yourself. I cannot comment any further as to why your Engine is "sluggish" without knowing exactly what you put your engine through. Also FYI, if it was a manufacturing defect, your engine would have behaved in a sluggish manner from the beginning not after reaching 26000kms.

Even i am facing the same problem while driving in city at low speeds, the bike feels very lazy to rev.
but in highways it will give competition to premium 150cc segment and entry level 200cc bikes. very smooth no vibrations at all stable at triple digit speeds. i think the fairing will do the magic in highways.Last edited by Prasad Vogooru; 05-05-2017, 12:16 PM.

Yeah that is the exactly same thing which iam facing with my bike. Tuned carb at the svc many times, adjusted the tappets, cleaned the carb even cleaned and lubed the chain but no use. Worst svc people here in hyd says urbike is fine and good but don't even identify the minor niggle that's why iam also fed up dude. Tried GEM SUZUKI KONDAPUR,MAHAVIR SUZUKI KUKATPALLY, MIDAS SUZUKI MALAKPET & uppal branch all of them are useless. They just have a general knowledge about how to service the bike that's it. Finding the root cause of the issue is a very big task for them I think that's why when ever we complain them regarding any issue their simple answer is EVERY THING IS FINE SIR COME AT THE NEXT SERVICE WE WILL RECTIFY IT. From last few days , my younger brother was having my bike, and today when I took back the bike I notice a bend to the Mac wheel. Can anyone help me out what to do. And It is also creating little noise when bike is going through potholes.

Claim insurance and replace the rim, do not attempt to get the bend fixed on the alloy, it is just too risky and might result in catastrophic, you never know.
