The stock ones are the best. Have you flattened your tyres already or looking to upgrade?

Depends on you dude some people's prefer clean oil more than expensive oil either you can buy 300v or you can use the svc oil like 4 times but it takes effort so it's up to you either change oil every 800-1000 km or buy the expensive ones and drive 4000km so it's on you cleaner oil or the expensive one, guys correct me if I'm wrong, btw I change oil every 1000km but was thinking to change to motul 300v too you should consider with other user too.

I don't mind the cost if it increases the drivability and smoothness and engine gruff..

Just asking. If you'd said Metzellers, I might be tempted.

Congratulations man! If possible, get stickering/ livery of Suzuki done on your bike. SUZUKI in white and the lines in Red. I had seen this on the internet. Will look nicer

Had the 1st service done last weekend. Oil changed (stock), chain lubed, adjusted cluch lever as it had become a little loose. Asked the guy if they can change the headlamp to something better but he declined due to warranty.

Got the bike back after just 3 hours (Kiran Suzuki, Thane) and I could have sworn it was a brand new bike. Gear shifts have become buttery smooth, and the acceleration and the sound of the exhaust as I rev harder makes even more heads turn than before. [emoji12]

Surprisingly, my rear view mirrors have held well *touch wood*. The only gripe that I have is the headlamp. After having a difficult time choosing between Osram Night Racer HS1 and Philips ExtremeVision+ H4, I finally ordered the Philips bulb today. Cost me around ₹630 on Amazon. I just hope that the higher wattage bulb doesn't damage the reflector. I'll post the before/after pics later.

                        About the run in period..

                        1. While breaking in you don't want to give sudden throttle or apply sudden brakes. Get yourself acquainted with the clutch play. Don't ride at constant speed all the time. Try to vary your speed and go thru all the gears. THERE IS NO SPEED RESTRICTION. But following the RPM restrictions, you would be going at around 65kmph in the fifth gear.

                        2. Make sure you don't exceed 4500rpm till 800KMS. Try to complete 700KMS at least before first service if you can.

                        3. Stay within 7000rpm till you've clocked 1600 KMS.

                        4. Don't push the bike into corners till 160KMS as your tires would be new. You need to break in your tires too.

Take care of your bike, keep it clean and healthy. Wear your gear and ride safe.
